  • Re: Passage Guide Split Screen

I was just wondering if this has been fixed yet. I can read faithlife study bible and other types of books on my android in logos on a split screen but as soon as I open up the passage guide I can no longer split the screen. I am hoping I just don't know how to do it. Thx

  • Re: What if Microsoft tanks

Now that I did not know. I thought the resources and the platform that they ran on were tied together. Good to know thanks.

I am not sure how you can function with such a wide variety of Logos and windows versions at the same time. I dont think I could stand it especially when if I owned better versions of both that worked.

  • Re: What if Microsoft tanks

There may be a lot of exaggeration going on but companies do fail especially if they feel like they are invincible. I really do like my tablet and phone using Logos but they are no where near as powerful or conducive to study on as my laptop is. This would be a beside the point but is there a way on a android tablet to see the passage guide and have

  • Re: What if Microsoft tanks

Well that would be an obvious solution but would just buying the MAC solve the problem. In other words is Logos going to convert/trade my PC based Logos files to the MAC free, for a fee, or are we talking brand new purchase. At the end of the day it would not be their fault that Microsoft went belly up nor would they be really obligated to help me in

  • What if Microsoft tanks

There is a lot of talk in the news lately about Microsoft 8 and its lousy interface and the fact that it is killing PC sales across the board. There are also rumblings that people are leaving in droves for Apple and Android devices. So my question is what if Microsoft ceases to exist what then happens to the Logos platform that runs on Windows. I have

  • Re: Fuzzy Search?

I agree with the original poster. I miss fuzzy search. It was great to throw in crazy terms of a verse that you know you do not remember correctly and watch Logos work its magic and turn it into something useful. I did not use it often but sometimes, for the life of me, I cannot get enough of the right words together to perform a proper search with

  • Re: How install a select set of Bible and helps

I just accidentally hit the download all button on the screen after doing a search and downloaded a bunch of journals. It is not the end of the world but how do I un download them. I just do not want them taking up unnecessary space on my phone memory. Also is there a way to stop a download midstream if I do this again by accident. Thx, Geoff

  • Re: Bookmarks

Thanks Steve, That seems to be the problem. I guess I have never used the keypad before but your right it only works with the numbers at the top and not the keypad. I am not sure I ever would have realized that. Thank you for your help and Dave too for giving me some of your time to make this work. Geoff

  • Re: Bookmarks

Hey Dave, so far as I can tell it does not do anything in that program. Ctrl + shft has an affect but the # aspect of the equation does not seem to do anything.

  • Re: Bookmarks

Hey Dave, Not that I know of. I am not even sure that I would know how to do that. They do seem to work like they usually do. I can type in caps if I push the shift key and the ctrl key will locate my mouse on the screen like it always has. I did get them to work once but that seemed almost more like a fluke. My computer was rebooted twice yesterday

  • Bookmarks

Has anyone else had trouble bookmarking using the shortcuts (Ctrl+shift+ #) I tried to do some today and my books went to the last page of the book instead of marking the page I was on and the bookmarks showed that nothing had been marked. (they remained unassigned). The buttons work on my keyboard and if I click on the bookmark page to mark them manually

  • Re: Surprising permissions for 0.9.2

Just wanted to put my two cents in this conversation. I do not like having Logos tracking me or having the potential of accessing stuff in my phone that I do not want it to. I will not be updating until it is removed. There is too much potential for unintended consequences here for a very trivial privilege of a few people. Logos may not be a big target

  • Re: Reading Puzzle?

Thanks for the replies. I am familiar with the word find puzzle but I had never heard of the the "reading puzzle". It is listed right underneath of the word "find puzzle" so I assumed that it was different. Someone earlier said it might be a typo and since no one else seems to have heard of it I guess that might be what it is. I do not know how to copy

  • Reading Puzzle?

I was liking Logos on facebook and saw Morris Proctor's training manual vol. 1 listed looked at it and then vol. 2. Vol. 2 under its contents has a "chapter" on Reading Puzzle. I have never heard of this before and can find nothing on it on my program or on the logos website. Does anybody know what it is and where it is found? Thanks Geoff

  • Re: Handout Guide

I was just trying to use these handouts and thought something nice to be included in the rebuild would be a spell check when you add your own content or thoughts to the handout. I would guess, with all the dictionaries built into L4 already, that this would not be that hard but I am not all that great with computers either. Anyway just an idea.

  • Re: Handout Guide

Thanks for the redirect. I do not get on here very much and there is a massive amount of material to look at which is why I did not see that other post. That post is dated in early July I hope they are close to releasing the new version or architecture. I don't care what they call it I just hope it works

  • Handout Guide

I saw that the new update dealt with columns when in paged view. I had hoped (though I know they are unrelated) that maybe that would affect the handout guide it not forcing me to have 2 columns all the time when I add my own content. There is so much potential for the hand out guide and yet it still remains useless because of this annoying feature

  • Re: No library in Biblia

I tried what you said and it did not do anything. It is just an icon in the background that the cursor does not seem to recognize no matter where I go around it. Another question I have about this is is the bible searchable. I have only seen a place to enter a specific passage but if I wanted to search a word or phrase I would not know where to put

  • No library in Biblia

I just read on the blog about Biblia for Blackberry which is great but the only thing it has on it is my favorite bible the NASB. There is an icon that is a flat gray that I assume is the library button but it does not do anything. The bible seems to work fine but that is all that I can do. I signed in as a logos user and I have a BB curve 8300. Help
