• Re: BUG report for Mojave: Blank Side Panels

Is anyone else (who is testing the Mojave beta) experiencing this? BTW: a quicker workaround is to close the panel with CMD-W and then type SHIFT-CMD-T to immediately reopen it.

Hi Cynthia, Have you tried clicked on the drop-down menu to the right of each visual filter? There's a "do not show in any resources" option:

  • Mojave: Blank Side Panels

I am on the Mojave public beta. I have noticed that, after switching layouts, one or more of my side panels (e.g. Information, Favorites, Highlights, etc) will be blank. Workarounds include: closing panel and reopening it; also restarting Logos will fix it. I am running Logos 7.17 on Mojave Public Beta 8.

  • Re: Suggestion: enable/disable section/chapter/verse division markers

Hi Anna, welcome to the forums! If you click on the three dot icon you will get a drop-down menu that has "Bible Text Only" on it. From there you can select or deselect the kinds of things you would like to see or not see in the text:

  • Re: BUG: Graphics Anomaly on Tabs with High Sierra

Any progress on this issue? Suggestion: do we really need to have a visual cue when we hover over a tab in the first place? I wouldn't mind not having one.

This thread, from a couple years ago, has a positive response to running Logos on the 12" MacBook: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/101979/802774.aspx Hope it helps.
But please note that moving Logos from an SSD to a standard drive will have performance implications
Jeremy, I would see how much Logos is actually taking up first. Mine (5000+ books) takes up about 40 GB. Perhaps there's something else of lower priority that you could move off the SSD (like a media collection).
That said, some LN subscribers are NOT cloud subscribers for a reason. I personally do not want to have 144 temporary books downloaded on to my account, even if there is no cost to use them until my LN subscription expires.
Bingo...I would be happy if they made a "features" level that didn't have any books or courses
Please reconsider offering LN separately from Faithlife Connect. We really don't care to pay extra to rent books, courses, and TV. Thanks!
exactly my thoughts.

I would try <Sense to rejoice (expression)> Lord This picks up some other "rejoice" words, like "be glad" and "joy."

  • New Ebooks site Improve Search

It is no longer possible to do an exact search on the new site. That is, putting quotes around multiple search terms has no effect. It merely searches for the individual terms and not the exact phrase.
I just tried the site and the search engine seems to be less helpful than when it was Vyrso.
The "new" Faithlife Ebooks site is just a rebranded " Noet Ebooks " site that they have been using for some time now. And yes, the search is inferior . Try searching for something in quotes, for instance, and you'll see that
the pastor stated that "in the last days the oceans will become like cesspits"
I think the pastor was using the word "cesspits" to describe what he read in Bible, and not directly quoting the Bible. Hi Ed. Welcome to the forums. Yes, you can highlight in a floating panel. I am guessing, however, you are wondering how to do that when the highlight panel is in the main window. There are several ways you could do that. I don't know if you are on Windows or Mac, but you can select the text and use a keyboard shortcut to switch back to the main window

I use a 9.7 inch iPad Air 2. I use PDF expert to display my sermon notes. You get the ability to swipe (or touch) to change pages, plus the ability to highlight and make short notes. (I go back and correct my manuscript after preaching). In order to best use the space, I set my margins to .5 inch and my paper size to 8.25x11 (the same ratio as the screen
