• Re: How do you teach from Logos 8?
This has served me well until now. Now in Logos 8, when I add a note, it is not added to the notebook in the order it appears in the Bible (verse 2 notes should follow verse 1 notes) but appears by created date, or modified date, with no ability to sort by reference.
Hi Titus, FL rebuilt the Notes Tool from scratch

On the iOS mobile app, tap on the main menu (the three horizontal bars) and then tap "Help." The lower half of the help menu shows the iOS equivalent of what the "About Logos" does on the desktop.
"Takes"? You mean, it does that every time you add something? Yikes, that's discouraging.
When you do a new install, it takes a few hours. When you add a new resource or two, it will index for a few minutes at the most.
I have been trying to install for the first time logos 7 in Mojave and it tells me that the file is "damaged". Apparently there is still no compatibility (unless someone knows something that I do not yet). So far I have not been able to work on my macbook pro 2012 (Mojave) with logos 7.
Logos 7 works fine in Mojave.

This is normal. You can expect a few hours of indexing for a new install. Mine, with 6,000 resources, takes a little over 2 hours.

  • Re: Visual Filter on Bible Resource and Atlas Maps

Hmm...I tried other versions—ESV, NIV, NKJV—and initially they did not show atlas markers. I restarted Logos and markers showed up (e.g., Acts 13:13). But...the marker for Acts 12:25 which I had before has disappeared. So there is something weird going on. Could you edit the title of your post and add "BUG:" to the beginning, to make it

  • Re: Visual Filter on Bible Resource and Atlas Maps

The Atlas visual filter is linked to Biblical Events more than places. For example: If you want to find a place in the Atlas, right-click the place name; make sure it's selected as a "Place" in the right-hand side of the context menu, then click Altas in the left side. Hope this helps.

I cannot reproduce on macOS 10.14.2, Logos 8.1 RC 2, using Pages. What OS are you on? What word processor are you using? Does it happen in other word processors/email/text editors?

Only if FL changed or organized the text in some new way would it constitute a new work not in the public domain. You might want to try emailing FL directly at permissions@faithlife.com Anyway, I think you have a good question, and
