• ψιθυρισμός Entry in BDAG

Sometimes all the abreviations in BDAG trip me up. Am I reading the ψιθυρισμός entry in BDAG correctly that ψιθυρισμός is "always with καταλαλιά"? Does that mean in "our literature" or truly "always"?
One other thing you might find interesting or helpful (if you haven't already tried this) is to use the Analysis 'tab' in your search results. If you right click on the header of the table that opens up you can add a column for Chapter or for Book and see your search results aggregated to that level (not paragraphs, unfortunately
Also, there's only one greek root for Love in 1 John 4: Agapao. Agapao (Love - verb), Agape (Love - noun), Agapetos (Beloved - adjective). Just to save you some time.
Thanks!
Change the option in the dropdown from "Count per book" to "Frequency per 1,000 words in book," or "Frequency per 1,000 words in chapter" if you're doing it at the passage level.
Thank you - I didn't realize that was customizable! I wish there was a "Frequency per 1,000 words in paragraph" (and yes, I do realize that paragraphs

  • Find Passages with a High Frequency of a Given Word

Hi, I am trying to find passages with a high density/frequency of the English word "love" in the NT. I would then use the identified passages to explore contrasts between the various Greek words for "love". The closest thing I have found thus far is "Graph Bible Search Results" using the "Result Map," but I believe that is frequency by verse rather

  • Forum RSS Feed

I found the following RSS URL: https://community.logos.com/forums/aggregaterss.aspx?Mode=0 and I see that changing the "Mode" number changes the RSS feed slightly. My question is whether it is possible to modify the RSS URL to expand the feed items such that they include the post texts rather than just the post subjects/titles.

  • Android Logos App Reading Reminder

I have a "Reading Reminder" set in my Android Logos app, but I am not receiving the notification. I have my phone set to "Do Not Disturb" in the mornings until after I finish my devotions. I know that should prevent the notification from making a sound, but is that preventing the notification completely? How do I fix this?
the look of the circumflex accent depends on the Greek font you use - e.g. Gentium Alt will maybe look more familiar to you.
Thanks! Displaying the individual syllables would still be helpful (ie. displaying the "Graphemes" label")?

I'm sorry, that was a dumb question. The accents are in the Greek text but I believe the notation is slightly different: ~ instead of ^ Displaying the individual syllables would still be helpful (ie. displaying the "Graphemes" label"

Thank you. I have created a feature request for sub-word highlighting: https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/sub-word-highlighting Are there any resources that include the Greek accents?

  • Displaying New Testament Greek Accents and Syllables

I am studying rhythm in the Greek New Testament and I am wondering if there is a way to display Greek accents and syllables in an interlinear. There are 2 datasets that seem relevant ( https://www.logos.com/features/greek-accents-syllables ), but so far my attempts at a visual filter don't display the accents on the right syllables and I can't seem
