The "Load Workspace" under Tools/Options/General/General has ceased working - it just inisists on loading one workspace in particular. If I delete that workspace it just loads a blank screen - even though the Tools/Options/General/ general/Load Workspace shows another worspace should be loaded - the next one on the list alphabetically? I am running

I often want to search for a word or phrase in a particluar book or range of chapters within the book. L3 allowed me to do this by simply entering a search range in the search dialogue box. L4, however, wants me to save a range for each of these one-off searches and then I have to delete them afterwards so that the references range selection does not

Hi Thomas I am not only having trouble with L 4.0a (it crashes every time on loading) - some problem with home page, I think. Anyway, I am so frustrated with L4's endless downloads & indexing that I have decided to go back to Logos 3.0 - only to find that the latest version (3.0f) appears to have problems too! 1. The Options - General - whar to do on

Hi Phil I am not replying to the 4 FAQs - I feel that I have experienced enough facts about Logos 4.! Are you employed by Libronix or do you have contacts there? I simply cannot get any response from customer support and I have had a succession of complaints with L4. L4a appeared to be an improvement - until the programme crashes started! L4 crashes

Re Logos 4.0a crashing. Logos 4.0 continues to delight and disappoint. My current problem is that it crashes on booting and holding CNTRL and selecting off-line does not help either. Any suggestions?? PS.. At least I don't have to worry about endless downloads and indexing!!! I can just go back to L3 and lament what might have been. Brian

Hi Thomas Do I need to go through that whole process or can I just copy the resources across into the appropriate folder?? i.e. install L4 - kill of indexing and then copy rsources. How do you copy a working installation across? - I am not sure how to do that. Any comments? Thanks Brian

I find the massive downloads required by L4 tedious, time-consuming and prohibitive - e.g. they exceed download limits or HDD capacity on a lap top. Can (selected) resources simply be copied from one computer to another via CD/DVD? I understand that there may be some problems with this. Thanks Brian

I have always found Strongs lexicon of only limited use. I realize that other Hebrew lexicons can be accessed by right-clicking, but I have always wanted GK numbers / link to EBD to be part of the interlinear display - much the ssame as LN is displayed in the Greek interlinear. This would be a much easier, rapid & intuitive way of operating. Does anyone

Hi Matthew / Dave I am a bit new to this. Could you give the full path name for the files to be copied so that L4 can be copied onto a second computer. eg. is it /Application Data/Logos4 ??? And what does {random} mean - e.g. all files?? The files I have in the above Logos 4 folder are Data, Documents, Install, Shared,System, Users, and the the L4 application

Hi Bob Thanks for your comment. I really, really do like the modal style of operating - that is if it emulates MS Word's copy format function - i.e. you can go through a book simply highlighting each word or phrase by dragging the mouse over it - the currently selected style then highlights the word or phrase - just as if you were reading a printed

The reference browser in Logos 3 appeared to be a genuine browser. For example, If I browsed for John 3:16 it would find references in the text being searched that not only specified this exact verse, but would also find those that included John 3:16 in a verse range under discussion. e.g. browsing for John 3:16 would find references to John 1:1-17

Can anyone explain ranking to me? For example, if I enter "Bible Dictionary" into the library search field, I get a long list of resources arranged in alphabetical order and a ranking of resources that puzzles me - it seems to bear no relationship to prioritizing. If I click VIEW a couple of times I get a list in order of rank but Easton's, Tyndale

Thanks, Philip. I am looking forward to this enhabcement.

I love highlighting text in MS Word by double-clicking on the paint format function. This enables me, for example, to transfer yellow highlighting by simply highlighting various word or phrases as I go through the text. There is no need to select a word - then select the highlight required; and then repeat the process one word at a time. I cannot understand

Logos 3.0 allowed the user to specify multiple non-continuous references by separating them with a semicolon or comma : for example Jn 3:1-20,24;Rom 3:21 ; Job:19:25-26 - i.e. in L3, all of these passages would copy as a single block – in L 4.0 you would have to copy & paste 4 times in this instance. I find this quite cumbersome. Does anyone know whether

I have just discovered the same problem. In L3 I regularly copy a series of references separated by a semicolon. To be forced to copy one Bible reference at a time in L4 is yet another step backwards.

I too have many problems with Logos 4.0 and believe that it was released prematurely. My question appears to be related to the problems you have outlines. What I want to know is how do you change the RANK of resources? And is RANK different from priority? For example, if I type BLOESCH in my ibrary find box, 7 commentaries by Bloesh are selected. But
