Since I've upgraded to, I've noticed a bug related to filtering in my Library. For instance, if I try to apply a filter, the information bar will show the filter applied but the books displayed will not be filtered. However, if I add a second filter, then the filtering will take place. For example, if I filter by Subject: Bible O.T., my Library

Author here. The fuller context that NB.Mick highlighted is essential for reading that sentence correctly. I was summarizing the non-evangelical position, rather than stating what the true position should be. I agree with those who see that statement as being in error. Brian Collins

  • Re: Will Logos Silver Baptist 6.0 run well on Windows Surface 3

I know someone who uses it n a Surface 3. It runs decently. There is some lag with certain tasks, but its still very usable.

You can do a long press on the taskbar in tablet mode to trigger a context menu. That menu will give you the option of adding a keyboard button to the taskbar in tablet mode.

Thanks for the tip. I just tried what you suggested, and it works for me as well as long as I keep Logos 6 full screen when I switch back to tablet mode. If I snap another app alongside Logos, it as if Logos doesn't know how to resize properly in tablet mode.

Logos works fine for me in Windows 10 when outside tablet mode. But when in tablet mode, the toolbars do not appear. I see the bottom part of the program where the Scripture/book text is. But all of the tabs and tool bars are gone. I see the desktop image where I should see the tabs and toolbars. I'm running Logos 6 on a Surface Pro 2.

  • Re: Windows 10 and Logos Application in Windows Store

I also think that a lightweight reading app for Windows 10 would be wise for Logos. Even on a fast tablet like a surface pro 2, Logos is slow enough to load that for general theological reading, I at this point prefer Kindle. A basic reading app that is fast would make a lot of sense for all Windows 10 machines from desktop to tablet to phone.

I agree with Daniel Lee: [quote user="Daniel Lee"] My argument: Improve the Windows Store Logos app not because of Windows RT device market share, but because then you tap into all those Windows 8.1 customers who are getting tablets and touchscreen laptops and other devices that can run your app. Sure, they can install Logos 5 (and then 6, 7, etc).

  • A Case for an Improved Windows Store App

I believe a compelling financial interest exists for Logos to improve its Windows Store app for Windows 8 / 8.1 devices. - NetMarketShare reports that the usage share for Windows 8 has not risen above the usage share for all versions of OSX combined. There is likely a growing user base for Logos on Windows 8 devices. - Because Logos 5 runs on Windows

  • Re: Version available for Bible!

If less frequent means there will still be some updates, I'll suggest two features: I'm currently using Windows 8 on a non-touch laptop. I use Logos 5 as my primary Bible software, but I'd like to be able to use the Logos Windows Store app for basic reading of journal articles or books. It does not need to be as fully featured as the iOS app for this

  • Re: New Reasons to Download the Free Logos App

Thank you for the update. The features it adds are much appreciated. Two requests. One minor and one major 1. The ability in settings to make the contents option rather than the verse option the default for Bible TOCs. 2. The ability to sync highlighting between the desktop and iOS versions. Thanks for your hard work.
