It would be nice if a new anchor option was "attach to this Gk/Hbw word"

  • Anchor to Greek/Hebrew word?

I know I can anchor a note to multiple verses, but is there a way to anchor a note to multiple uses of the same Greek/Hebrew word. For example, if I found a definition or quote about the word "shalom" that I wanted to appear as a note every time the word shalom appeared, is there a way to do that?

  • key words in passage selection

Do I recall correctly that Logos has a feature that shows the key words in a specified book or passage? As I prepare an overview of 1 Thessalonians, I want to know what the key words are: how many times does "hope" appear, "joy," "appearing?" Is there any way for Logos to show me this? Are other words more frequent that I haven't thought of ("crown

Thanks everyone for your helpful suggestions. I may use notebooks AND tags! Hopefully Passage Lists will make the transition into the app before too long as well!

  • lists of verses: best tool?

I want to gather lists of verses: benedictions, verses for people who are sick, verses about fatherhood, verses on other topics, too. What's the best way to do this? Clippings? Passage lists? Notes folder? And if Passage Lists, how can I add / create one in the app? I read often on a device, so that is my primary platform. Has anyone else done this

  • Verse lists for iPhone?

Is there any chance we'll see verse lists in the iPhone version of Logos? I have a number of lists which would be helpful to access from my phone, and suspect others might as well: communion verses, benedictions, Bible prayers, healing verses etc. Just curious.

  • search notes without scrolling?

Hi There, when I click on a note attached to a verse, my notes open at Genesis 1, requiring me to scroll down to find the note to read or edit it. Is there any way I can click on the note and go straight there without all the scrolling? I have hundreds of notes and it's time consuming to get to the right place! to clarify, I know I can read the note by hovering over it, but it's when I want to edit it or copy the text to use somewhere else that i run into problems

  • copy bible verses to openoffice? windows but not mac?

i think the copy bible verses portion of L4 is much stronger than L3, but it seems in the windows version you have more options which include paste to openoffice. is this correct or is there a way i can get my L4 for mac to copy and paste a selection of verses into an openoffice text document?

i'm using mac L4 and it seems that's not available yet, or not present in my version. is this standard in windows, or did you turn it on somehow? I may check with the mac developers

  • BDAG no page #s in footnotes?

I'm copying and pasting into various word processing programs (Word, Oo) but getting no page numbers in my footnotes for BDAG. Other dictionaries don't seem to have page numbers in the footnotes either. Is this a glitch, or is there a setting I should check?

  • Re: What is going on?

In your effort to give kudos, don't misinterpret my comments. I do like Logos... I have spent lots and lots of money on Logos software over the years. And I do think the mac developers are working hard...! I voiced the obvious over-arching issue... Since the time of the first mac release 2007 ??? until now... ten months into L4 for mac release... Jason York, I realize that using software is a choice. And that Logos 4 is in development. However don't forget Logos 3 was not sold as a software in development. I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on Logos software ( over $1000 but less than $2000) so your insinuation to using Logos is a choice is not helpful... Also, I'm not sure but I

  • Re: What is going on?

Michael Aubrey, [Please forgive my over statement, I did not mean to confuse my point. It has been 10 months not 12.] The point was L3 was not completed and L4 "after 10 months" is still buggy and crashes (not just for me but for many others, check out the forums...) Those are facts whether we chose to acknowledge them or not.
