If you have some journals you may find some good discussions such as A Critique of the Preterist View of “Soon” and “Near” in Revelation by Mark L. Hitchcock in Bibliotheca Sacra Volume 163, 652, 466 (Dallas, TX: Dallas Theological Seminary, 2006).
Someone posted a link to his dissertation on here a while back

would be good for new learners. Last time I read Herodotus the interlinear came in handy at a few points. I wonder if there is Thucydides interlinear? I just found a French one: http://archive.org/stream/battlescressyan00sismgoog#page/n6/mode/2up hmmmm

The Muratorian Canon in the 100s? Paul imprisoned 60-62? Death of James 62 AD? Revelation written c. 90??? Well, seriously, I might not agree with many of the more disputed dates, but it's still a very good tool.

I didn't look into the whole BW/A/Logos thing when I started in on all this, but I am so thankful I chose Logos--I couldn't imagine research without it.

At $16 for von Soden and $30 for Lewis and Short

I'm in at $22

I wonder if this is the direction they should go with the Migne sets as well--make them individual titles.
That would in all likelihood cost us at least $1000/set, instead of $250/set. In the unlikely case all got published, that is. What would really happen would be that the 10-20 most popular volumes

If Dan is reading, let me just say that Plato had two peaks, and the lower price was the higher one. But I understand the danger of taking it off prepub and starting over--look at Migne--it's even further from publication on CP than it was on prepub.
I got a reply from Dan saying he would forward the request for a CP offering to the appropriate people... ...so 1, 2, 3 ("Hold your breath!")...
Yay! that's good news! . . . right?

I understand the danger of taking it off prepub and starting over--look at Migne--it's even further from publication on CP than it was on prepub
You're comparing apples and oranges. There's a limited amount of Logos users who know Greek well enough to read Migne. There's also a limited amount of Logos
Thanks, fgh. I forgot about Perseus - I guess I have them twice.
They are different translations, which is useful if you try going through the Greek.

I think they were far more accurate in their assumptions after the Egyptian find too. Let's just say that this set seems to represent the old Essene consensus, and that the application of form- and redaction-critical approaches to the question, with its subsequent creation of 'Enochic Judaism' tells me that they haven't learned anything from the collapse

we're still seeing movement on this.
Thanks, these are great books.
They really are!
