I believe this is a 24-hour only offer, so get in quick!

Thanks Glenn, and Faithlife
I already had two of these but didn't have "The Pursuit of the Holy". Thanks Faithlife!
Same here. I enjoyed Ponsonby's book on Revelation, so it's nice to get another of his works for free.

Hi Josh. Have you checked out best commentaries.com? Here's the link to their recommended commentaries on Joshua: http://bestcommentaries.com/joshua/ Both the Tyndale Old Testament Commentary and the New American Commentary feature highly in their list, and probably fit your bill. Not sure if you can buy the TOTC individually, if you don't already have

Thanks for the heads up Stephen - a great deal . And thank you Faithlife.

Yes please

Thanks Travis, and Faithlife.

I'm disappointed to see this resource won't make it into publication, but in fairness to Faithlife, they promoted it well via blog posts, etc., and gave us a long time to get the orders in to make it work. Sadly, as Bruce says, it looks like the demand wasn't there.

You could also consider making a "Sermon Illustrations" collection from your library resources, and doing a search of that collection to narrow down the focus of your search to sermon illustrations: (Forgive me if you know how to already do this!) See this wiki link for details of how to creation a collection: https://wiki.logos.com/Collections#Examples

Hi Lawrence, welcome to the forums! Do stick around, as there's a lot to learn from the many "power users" on here! I'm sure other users will chime in with more sophisticated ways to search for sermon illustrations, however one straight forward way is to run a Passage Guide for your chosen verse / passage, and then click on the " Illustrations " section

Chas, just to confirm, Logos 5/6 won't install on an iPad. Logos has its own app - called "Bible!" - which doesn't have all the functionality of the desktop version. How much the Logos app will use up in memory depends on how many resources you choose to download to the device. You can be selective in the app as to what resources to download and store
-
The iPad mini 3 will run the Logos app great. I only have a handful of resources downloaded to my iPad mini, and it's using about 500MB. If you plan on storing a lot of videos and photos on your iPad, you'll be surprised how quickly your storage gets used up. iOS 8 takes up a lot of space in itself (say 5 GB?) This means that your net storage will be

I'd love to see this too
Thanks to Faithlife and the Gospel Coalition.
...And John for the heads up

I'm grateful for the academic discount I've had to date, and for the academic discount which Logos will continue to offer, albeit it at a reduced rate. There are many Logos users on limited budgets who'd bite our hands off for any discount - especially the permanent kind!
-
I checked this version on Google Books - same ISBN as the Logos edition - and the missing paragraph is there
-
I'm missing that paragraph too in my Logos edition. The Logos edition seems to be based on a different version to your hard copy. It seems the Logos edition is based on a 1995 text?
-
Since it doesn't hurt you financially, please consider changing it...
Sam, you raise an interesting point, however your above comment isn't entirely true. If people can buy resources freely from other Logos users on a secondary market, then it *might* harm Logos's ability to sell new resources to users...
