Kenneth, what's the best way to convert a Google Book into a Personal Book? I haven't got much further than using full text files and importing them into MS Word. Thanks!

  • Re: Latest iPad update is very nice but...

Rev. Kelly, in order to test the new highlighting feature on the iOS app I opened up my favourite Bible on my iPad to a clean page, selected a random chunk of text to highlight and then had to wait circa 15 seconds for that highlight to appear on my iPad screen. My iPad was connected to my super-fast fibre optic broadband at the time. The delay was
It normally takes mine between 10-15 seconds. I have an original iPad and an iPhone 4s. I think that it syncs before it shows, which may explain the delay.
If this remains to be the case, it will make the highlighting function unusable for me. You could not read a piece of text of any decent length - with any kind of
Highlighting has so far been very slow for me. I haven't checked yet to see if it is syncing, but just adding a highlight has a bit of a delay. I would also like to see a simplified highlighting approach. I would bet that most people, myself included, will be using the same highlighting style most of the time so I'd prefer

  • Re: Open Kindle Books in logos

Hi Jonathan, welcome to the Logos forums. The short answer is: I don't think you can import Kindle books very easily. I believe the only way to do this would be to somehow turn your kindle book into a Personal Book (see - this article for details on how to make Personal Books) and import it that way. This could involve a lot of work, depending on the

  • Re: What's a Good Tool for Marking Up Photos?

One of the best programs which gives you options to mark-up photos with text, arrows, shapes, etc. is Powerpoint. If you add the photo you want to edit to a blank slide, make the changes you want and then export the slide as a jpg or pdf. (You can export the whole slide as an image simply by taking a screenshot.)

I use a 13" MacBook Pro and in all honesty, I wouldn't want to go much smaller given the amount of reading from the screen you do with Logos. I was in the Apple Store the other day looking at the 11" MacBook Air and I did think the screen looked incredibly small - it was bordering on being netbook-sized. That said, if you did go for the smaller MacBook
