• Sermons of Frederick W Robertson

I have compiled a PB of the sermons of F.W. Robertson ( collected from this website ) for personal use. I would be happy to share it on this forum if it appears that these sermons are in the public domain - which I hope they would be given the age. Could anyone kindly share their thoughts as to whether it would be appropriate to legally share this PB

  • Mac Word 2011 / PBB

I'm trying to format some course notes in a docx file on Word for Mac 2011 to create a PB. The course note paragraphs have various numbers and sub-numbers, and when I try to tab successive paragraphs into alignment, some paragraphs will not align properly. When I tab to indent one paragraph, it might tab a slightly larger gap than the tab above or below

  • Vyrso - Free Download Today Only (Tues Jan 3, 2012)

Vyrso has just announced via twitter that Near to the Heart of God by Robert J Morgan is free to download today only. This resource will download into Logos 4 if you get it. Here's a description of the book: The lyrics of our favorite hymns are rich in images that can help us in our daily walk with God—they are miniature Bible studies that lead us effortlessly

  • Re: Love my December purchases and resulting Christmas credit…
With these purchases I intend to buy the BECNT (8 volumes), which were not included when I purchased my Platinum upgrade package...
Mark, you may have to wait until the upgrade pack for BECNT comes out of pre-pub as I believe, at the present time, we can't use Logos Christmas Credit for pre-pub resources. That said

  • Re: How do you plan on spending YOUR Christmas credit?…

[I hope the OP doesn't mind me borrowing this thread - it could give others ideas as to what to spend their credit on... ] I'd be grateful for a few suggestions on how to spend my Christmas credit. I have about $500 to spend and qualify from academic pricing. I currently have the Platinum base package with the following main additions: NIVAC NT, NICOT

  • Re: How do you apply credit you've earned toward an online purchase?

Assuming you're talking about the Christmas special credit, I think that we will be able to spend it once the Christmas offer period ends at midnight tonight as technically people can still earn more credit by buying resources today. The purpose of the credit showing in your Logos account already is so you can track of how much you were earning as you

  • Re: Classic Commentaries and Study Series
Anyone have a post they can toss up of a sample (maybe the Genesis one or some other version)? Help me decide if I should keep these!
This would be difficult to do since each classic commentaties collection is just that - a collection of commentaries by many different authors on a book of the Bible. A single

  • Re: Will Logos 4.5 be a paid upgrade?
I am about to buy the scholars base package (probably tomorrow after I get home from church)
Hi Caleb, welcome to the Logos forums. If you are planning on taking the plunge to buy a base package, I would strongly advise you to do so no later than January 2 . This will ensure you benefit from the current Christmas specials

  • Re: Quotations Database

I use Evernote for doing this as the ability to tag your notes/quotes and search for them relatively easily, and organise your notes/quotes by different notebooks (or folders), makes this a simple, but effective, note taking platform. I also like the fact that the Evernote apps for my MacBook Pro, iPad and iPhone allow me to add new notes or read existing

I want to earn more Logos credit over Easter / during March Madness. My Christmas credit will be long spent by Easter.
March Madness precedes Easter.
But does "March Madness" include Logos credit? Not to date!

  • Re: The Works of Charles Hodge (29 vols.)

$30 bid increased to $40. I'm ambivalent about this resource, and am at the limit of what I'd pay for it. If I get it at this price, great. If not, I won't be crying over this spilt milk!
Agreed. If the resolution on the iPad 3 is as rumored, it will be great for reading.
Bill, the resolution of the first gen. iPad and iPad 2 is already more than sufficient for reading Logos resources!

  • Logos "private sale" - 26 December 2011

Just saw this post from Dan Pritchett on twitter. In case the screen shot is too small to make out the text, it says: Private sale @Logos -day after Christmas. Email sales@logos.com w/ your name & number. Ask for a call on 12/26 to get in line. Is this likely a bespoke sale of the resources you tell them you're interested in?
I will need to re-examine the Logos credit offer, as I think this is where the real Christmas deal lies this year. However, it is not lost on me that unless one can find something discounted you are buying a product(s) at regular price.
I think you "hit the nail on the head" here. The resource(s) you buy during the
Suggest visiting an Apple store along with looking at a 13" MacBook Air. For Logos 4, would buy MacBook Air with 4 GB since RAM cannot be upgraded. For a 13" MacBook Pro, suggest upgrading hard drive from 5400 RPM to faster 7200 RPM or even better: Solid State Disk (SSD).
I can testify to this. I was previously
