Thanks all. I appreciate the info, opinions and information you sent.
A belated welcome to the Logos forums!

It's probably too late in the day, however the $25.00 bids are creeping up towards the finish line... Come on new and $20.00 bidders - dig deep to make it a photo-finish.

I've been in on this resource for a while. It seems like great value and I hope it closes soon. That said, I have been wondering the following: I have the Scholar's Platinum base package, and recently purchased the IVP Reference Collection (vol. 3.) I was wondering whether it was overkill buying another dictionary, or whether this resource would complement
MacBook Air can run Logos 4 Mac, which has substantially more features than mobile apps.
As KS4J touched on, the iOS (and presumably the Android) mobile app is not Logos 4, and does not have anywhere near the functionality of Logos 4 on a PC or mac. I've found the Logos iOS app on my iPad useful for (1

It's a shame we're unlikely to get this resource reduced in time, however, on the bright side: (1) it looks like we've got a great resource into production at an excellent price; and (2) it frees up a space in community pricing for Logos to throw in another good opportunity.

Here's what the Zondervan Dictionary of Bible Themes says on the topic: 8488 tithing The practice of offering to God a tenth of the harvest of the land and of livestock, as holy to the LORD. The idea is also used in a more general sense, meaning offering one-tenth of one’s income to the Lord. Tithing was practised before the giving of the OT law Ge

Surely by making the magazine available in both hard copy and electronic media, you ensure the widest possible target market. At present, it seems like Bible Magazine has cut off an ever-growing segment of the Christian literature consumer market. Also, given the production costs for an electronic edition would be considerably less than printing a paper

After the success of getting a late $5.00 reduction on the Expositor's Bible last week, this seems like a reasonable opportunity for getting the following resource for $25.00, instead of the $30.00 where it looks like it's going to cross the community pricing threshold: Critical and Exegetical Commentary on the New Testament (21 vols.) It looks like
Currently on $160 and stuck there, but the $50 bids just need a little push: http://www.logos.com/product/8522/classic-commentaries-and-studies-on-revelation
I think they need a BIG push.
Would love to subscribe to the magazine, but with the shipping costs as not living in the states it makes it ridiculously expensive, would love a digital version that was integrated into Logos......... That would be brilliant
+ 1
The IVP Bible Background Commentaries give you background by verse, the Dictionaries are topical, but sometimes the topics are linked to particular verses. Bothe types of resource are very usefel, but you get them all if you buy the Essential IVP Reference Collection , which has an excellent set of resources.
I am very

If we can get this through at $30.00, $5.00 per volume is a very nice price! The feedback on this series seems to be very good: Praise for the Print Edition This notable work was conceived and carried out by that genius among editors, Sir William Robertson Nicoll, C.H., D.D., LL.D. He had an exceptional knowledge of religious and literary, of theological

A stiff breeze should push this one over the $30 line:

On a slightly related note, I understand that more and more people are mentioning their various passwords in their Last Wills and Testaments so loved ones can access all their data that would otherwise be locked away!
Just updated to iOS 5 and realized I can post on the iPad now! Makes my day ;)
But, unless I'm mistaken, you won't be able to read the NIV on the Logos iOS app!
William Barclay's NT commentary series, Daily Study Bible is always a good source of historical context and background. http://www.logos.com/product/6752/the-new-daily-study-bible-new-testament
I would second this. I have found Barclay on the whole to be very good on historical background. As these commentaries tend
