Hello, Any idea when the rest of Swindoll’s Living Insights New Testament Commentary will make it to Logos research status? Thank you again for all your effort. Bill

Thanks for everyone's help... I thought (mistakenly) that if the type was Bible Commentary and not monograph that that would be enough to link, but adding the edition column I now see some are Logos Research while the majority are eBook. Good to know!
-
Thank you for your reply... I actually thought the same thing... but they all show up as type "Bible Commentary" in my library

Just saw my Swindoll's Living Insights New Testament Commentary has been converted... but when I add the commentary's to a tab and set the Link Group. It doesn't follow like other commentaries... Also none of the verse hyperlinks in the commentary work (they don't take you to the verse that's marked) My library looks like this 3 of the commentaries

Swindoll's Commentary would be great to have... ESV Xrefs and the Strong's talking Hebrew Greek Dictionary All of which I still go back to WS for... I am so thankful for the work you guys at Faithlife are putting into this.

Thank God... Acts and Matthew are here!

So on the Logos-Wordsearch FAQ there is this question and answer... which explains why some didn't get the email with the discount code: Who qualifies for the special upgrade offers? I've heard about them, but I don't see them. Wordsearch users who are purchasing their first Logos Base Package or Feature Set qualify for the limited time upgrade offers

Thank you

Bradley, Just a question, When I go to the Logos store and look up the MacArthur commentaries it shows I own all of them except the Matthew and Acts ones (which the LOGOS website says I can purchase) but I already own them all of MacArthur commentaries in WordSearch. I am confused what the difference is, I saw that these were to be converted, but if

While we have features that we do indeed miss in WS (Zipscript, for example) and have a post dedicated to things we miss... I felt maybe it'd be a good idea to have an area to post the things that we found that we liked better about LOGOS. That other WS users might find interesting. 1) I like the responsiveness of LOGOS when I open many resources..
-
Thank you, for you quick reply I had seen the context menu... and was overwhelmed with it's content... I missed the search in section... your example helped greatly And as far as the info window goes... I think I answered my own question... there's an option in the kabab to "send hyperlinks here" so I opened another version of the Bible I wanted and

Hi, 1) Zipscript, as others have said it allows you to paste Bible verses even if Logos is not running as well as it doesn't matter what program your pasting into. 2) In WS you can right-click on a Strong's number in a Bible passage and search where else that word was used in the Bible. This is very handy and quick when looking for additional comparisons

Bradley, I am sorry, my confusion it was looking at the latter... Thank you so much for the clearing that up... I updated my bookmark Bill

Bradley, I am having a similar issue of resources that show up as available, but when you click on the link to open them they say I don't have a license for them. Here's one for example: 0:666 Acts—The Church Afire Preaching the Word Available Logos Research When I go to logos library they don't show up there either, and online it says I don't own them

Overall, I like Logos, (I’ve used both since QuickVerse days and Libronix days) and each had strengths For example, Logos is a true 64 bit app, and it doesn’t seem to care how many resources I have open. It is so fast! I like the ability of being able to change the background colors to make it easier on the eyes. Logos has so much power, I doubt I will

Thank you so MUCH!!!! Just tried it works Great... Now to find out about my 2 missing MacArthur commentaries on Matthew and Acts... LOL so far this has gone remarkably smoothly
-
Phil, Thanks, I see many of my WordSearch resources are already moved over, but there are some odd exceptions... For instance, many of my MacArthur commentaries moved over, but not my MacArthur commentary on Matthew or Acts. Also they came over as individual resources... which seems to mean I need to have all my MacArthur commentaries open as individual

Did you try using Logos4 for logos in the bat file and retry?
