  • Logos Android highlights still not syncing with Windows 7 Logos 5

Hi, I reacted to this thread ( http://community.logos.com/forums/t/67230.aspx ) to say that the new app version 2.3.8 (2.3.9 in the meantime) hasn't solved the problem for me, but didn't get any response (few days ago now), so I thought I'd open a new thread to see if I'm the only one still having this problem. I have a Nexus 7 with Android 4.2.2 with

Hi Kevin, thanks for your reply! Yes, all my highlights and notes are on documents.logos.com, up to today. That's good to know! Do you think it will be difficult to solve the Logos Desktop problem? Thanks!

  • Re: Observe Lent in a New Way

Hi, I bought the 40 Days to the Cross and it looks really good. The only question I have is whether it would be possible to either include an automatic reading plan (that shows up as such) or to include page numbers in the book. I tried to make a reading plan for it, but because the devotional doesn't have page numbers it's impossible to get it rightly

Hi Ray, thanks for your reply and for investigating. I made a reading plan with the same settings, it looks allright in the list, but when you check the sections it actually doesn't match the day readings. For example in the first reading, it says"stop reading" right after the heading for Ash Wednesday and that's only one example. Thanks again for investigating

  • Re: E-ink device for Logos App Android

Here are some answers to questions I was asked regarding the Onyx Boox T68, they might be of interest. 1. How sharp is the text (as compared to a paperwhite for instance)? My wife has a paperwhite, I'd say the text is as sharp as the paperwhite. The contrast of the Paperwhite seems slightly better when the frontlight is turned off (but only slightly

Hi Pavel, I've got Windows 7 and my pc doesn't recognize the internal nor the external storage, but I should say that I have the same problem with my Nexus 7. My solution for that is using ES File Explorer which enables a WLAN connection, which is perfect for copying files from the PC to the device. I also noticed some ghost image every now and then

Hi Mark, It is very easy to completely power off the device, just hold the power button for 2 seconds and tap shut down button that pops up. To start it back up it takes about 40 seconds. I've been using the device for 2 days with the front light mostly OFF, WIFI mostly ON and the battery is still on 75%. It is interesting, it seems that the WIFI is

Hi Pavel, I don't have an external SD card yet, will get one today. I'll let you know how I get on with it.

I wonder if this article would help: http://techgage.com/article/moving_your_non-movable_android_apps_to_an_sd_card/

  • Re: E-ink device for Logos App Android

Hi Pavel, Well, I've got an SD card and got exactly the same behavior. I've been googling around a bit and apparently this behavior is not unique for the T68. It all depends on the app whether you can move things to the external SD card. I guess Onyx only thinks of books and pdf to store on the external SD, I noticed an option in settings to scan the

  • the book Infinite Journey is terribly slow when opening and highlighting

Hi, I've started to read the book The Infinite Journey by Andrew Davis on my Nexus 7 in the Vyrso app. For some reason this book is terribly slow to open up and when I add a highlight it takes almost a minute to process. I've tried to read the book in the Bible app to see if there would be a difference, but it seems to have the same behavior with the

Here is a link to a video review of the T68 that I just made showing the performance of the Kindle and Logos Bible apps. It's the first time I've made a video like this so it's not perfect but it hopefully gives an impresson. http://youtu.be/9BW3mNcFq5g

You're welcome. Yes, highlights are syncing all right, didn't make any notes yet, but as it's the same principle I'm sure they do.

  • Re: E-ink device for Logos App Android

Thanks Steve, I swapped the SD cards using the easy option, just copying data off both cards and then after doing the vold.fstab exercise copied the data to the right cards. That worked all right. But after having switched and trying for 2 days I got so annoyed by the slow performance of the whole device that I reversed the swap. I'm happy I tried so

  • Re: Time to take the apps to the next level

First 2 points are the ones I most wish for in the app as well! Regarding prayer points, there's a fantastic app called PrayerMate for that. Not connected to Logos in any way, but a very good app. It has a lot of features that I would never expect Logos to implement, they can't do everything!

  • BUG?: notifications not displayed

Hi, I'm using Firefox 27 on Windows 7. When I go to my Faithlife page it shows that there are 4 notifications on the left side, but when I click on notifications I don't see anything. I've got the Javascript plugins set to ask to be enabled, but I changed it to enabled for the faithlife page, it didn't make any difference. I do run Avast Antivirus on

Well, that was fixed fast after all, got the new version today and it's working again! While I'm at it Kevin, could you tell me if any new features are planned any time soon? Thanks for your work!

  • Logos Flashcards keeps crashing on N7 Lollipop 5.02

Hi, I installed Android Lollipop on my Nexus 7 (2012) today, all seems well apart from the Logos Flashcards app. It keeps crashing before even getting to the main screen. It says Loading... and then gives the message Unfortunately Logos Flashcards has stopped. Does anyone else have the same problem? Any idea how to fix? Thanks! Daniel

  • Please vote for this Suggestion: Create Reader's Edition Interlinear for mobile apps

The Reader's Edition Interlinear is a great feature for those like myself who are learning the Biblical languages, but it would be even better if it could be used on a tablet. I've created a suggestion for this, please vote here if you are interested in this as well: https://logosmobile.uservoice.com/forums/190765-logos-mobile-apps/suggestions/17003551
