Hi David, For a point of reference, I've been using a reading plan with the ESV which is available offline since 1.7.1 was released without problems. Actually, I've been using the reading plan without problems for the last few releases that supported offline resources. So, your experience it inconsistent with mine. I recommend that you send the crash

Can you verify that you have updated to the latest release of the App - v1.7.1? I had these issues with v1.7.0 but have yet to notice the issue with the new release. Brent

I too had an update to the NLT which I had downloaded and was using with the 1.7.0 app. The NLT updated fine and all appears good to me. Cheers, Brent

Absolutely Awesome Dave. I use my iPhone4 every day multiple times and I've never spent more time in the Word. I love the new history features. Thank you for your diligent work - and please pass on my appreciation to all involved. Cheers, Brent iPhone4 16 GB; Logos App v1.7.1

Dave, The change in the rotation lock in v1.7.0 is a step backwards IMHO. The iOS level rotation lock only allows locking the device in portrait mode. It does not allow locking the device rotation in landscape mode. In previous versions of the Logos App (1.6.3), the rotation lock as implemented in the App. allowed a user to lock the orientation in either

This was the first product I "Liked" as part of this promotion. Let's hope we can get many more Logos users to "Like" it. By the way, if you look at Best Commentaries.com , a number of the Tyndale commentaries (TOTC, TNTC) are rated in the top two commentaries for various books of the Bible. It would be great to get a good deal on the Tyndale Commentaries

I updated my iPhone4 and everything works fine.
Not a good Logos day..... The MacArthur Study Bible crashes 1.5 on my iPod Touch. Blows it right back to the Apple menu!!
??? ??? "Not a good Logos day ..."? I must disagree. It is a GREAT Logos day! The 1.5 release of the iOS app (i / Phone, Pad, Pod Touch), is a huge milestone in the development of the app. All

I have advocated this for a while now, but have never heard any one else think that this would be a good idea.
I back you! It would be much easier than click the little slider on a few hundred resources.
Me too.

I now have "[]" a rectangle to the right of each cross-reference symbol and to the left of footnotes in some bibles
That's the bug on iPhone OS 3.1 mentioned in the Known Issues . We'll have it fixed in the next release.
Actually, I really like the small rectangle next to the footnote
Downloading a resource is a two step process: downloading the file and installing it. The ESV Study Bible is one of our largest resources, over 200MB. Depending on your Internet connection, the download step may take a long time. The install step may also take a long time; it takes 1-2 minutes on my iPhone 4, but it does succeed

My prioritized list of features is as follows: 1. Fully offline installation 2. Fully offline installation 3. ... The reason for my beating on the "fully offline installation" is that I expect it would include many of the features other users are requesting including: a. Full support for offline support footnotes and references b. Viewing highlighting

Well said. Paged View is a significant improvement in on-screen reading. Mark's suggestions are excellent and I hope they are considered.

Local backup and restore of notes and prayer lists (which may contain personal data) would be great.

Hi Dave, How does one join the iPhone beta? Cheers, Brent

I just downloaded and installed v1.3.0 of the iPhone App on my iPod Touch. Sure looks like some nice enhancements. If Dave Dunkin, or another member of the Logos iPhone App team , is lurking through these postings, it would be great to get some release notes so that we are aware of all the new features. When I found the update on iTunes, it provided

Yes, I too use the dictionary lookup all the time in L4. I miss it a lot when using the iPhone App.
