    Thanks Kevin. Graham's response tipped me in this direction, yours settles it for me! A Surface it will be. The prices of the Galaxy S2 and Surface 3 are very similar, which I admit surprised me. Much appreciated, Mark.

    I'm having to hand back my work Surface 3, as I've got a new job where the tech is unlikely to be as flash. So I'm considering purchasing a Galaxy S2. I've enjoyed the hover-over feature in Logos whereby the cursor provides (for example) Greek morphology; you can use the Surface stylus quite nicely. The S2 doesn't come with a stylus and I understand

    As mentioned, the courses look great - suitable for self-study and, as I'm hoping to do, for a small group. There's a logical layout, and links to Logos resources. I can't see the video clips yet but based on what I've seen elsewhere from Logos (including one of their earlier DVD sets on Greek & Hebrew with Logos software) I'm not anticipating anything

    Hi, errr, Tramp...? Was on the phone to Logos support this morning, great work but problem not yet solved. Only two courses received thus far, Interpretation and Old Testament. Apparently another is due very soon, with three more next month and the remaining courses in January. Problem seems to be with some database configuration, may be unique to me

    Was about to start the BI101 course recently downloaded however the video clips do not work... I get an error "You don't have a licence to view this resource, but here's a preview...     Hi everyone, Responding to myself in thread, thanks to you all for the advice. In the end I hid a large proportion of titles I won't be needing for a while, which freed up enough space. I was unable to delete previous restore points, or remove any other apps as it is a work computer. As I type indexing is 31% complete with ample HDD to spare. Great

    Hello Logos community, I have a replacement Surface (64GB) for a time while a 128GB one is repaired. I have no difficulty with storage space normally, but the 64GB Surface can only just fit my library on it once everything else is installed - and Logos 5 cannot complete indexing before running out of space. I note that some library items can be deleted

    Thanks Lynden, thanks Dave. I tried using the Command line prompt, same problem. None of the layouts are updating, despite using the three methods (Ctrl, Alt, L, menu, command line)... I've used layout updating since I started with Logos some three years ago, so I don't think it's a PEBKAC (Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair)! This does seem

  • Update Active Layout no longer working

    Hi, No matter which layout I try to update, I end up with a previous layout version whenever I switch layouts. I've tried Ctrl-Alt-L as well as the menu shortcut. I'm running 5.1 SR-2 (5.1.0.0963) in Windows 8, and have only had this problem now for about a month. In fact, it was on Wednesday 3rd July (the day my daily reading always goes back to!)

    From the Mobile Education page it looks as though Logos has taken a MOOC-style approach, using high-quality video content with leading experts accompanied by the Faithlife community. Good model! It works well from a content-oriented perspective, yet, like MOOCs, it may not necessarily encourage the same level of synthesis required in a formal education
