• Re: Question for Verbum 10 acquistions
I think Verbum needs a 1662 Book of Common Prayer with updated spelling.
There are often problems with "updated spelling". Some times other things get changed also. Like the committee, in the late 1800s, to "update the spelling" of the KJV and ended up with the RV. Or maybe keep the original spelling and put the
Thanks for your feedback everyone. I decided to just stick with Page and number the pages using 'Arabic' numbers and the columns using letters
You might want to document your method with some notes at the beginning of the docx document so anyone reading the PBB would know.
If it’s not in the wiki
or can "VolumePageLine" be used? Question: How does one cite a reference to a newspaper article? Page number would be a must but it would seem that reporting which column would help find the reference quicker. Especially if one adds the line number! Second question: what data can we
But what is happening with Personal Books is kind of a nightmare for us users. Here's what I mean... 1. If a user creates a PB and then finds out he made a mistake in the .docx file... and has to edit and re-compile... then it appears he has to close down PBs and re-start then compile the book. I am thinking I had to actually close
These are only a few “theological” issues that have divided churches
One item I would add to that list is: 11 What Bible to use [[Note to DAL: cut your statement at the word "churches" as your list [imho] may apply to all churches / denominations]] (And as for why a church may split is the color of the new carpets

From Biblical Counseling Key on Forgiveness B. What Is Forgiveness Not? • Forgiveness is not letting the guilty “off the hook.” … It is moving the guilty from your hook to God’s hook. • Forgiveness is not the same as reconciliation.… It takes two for reconciliation, only one for forgiveness. • Forgiveness
I appreciate you guys discussing this... now I can "carry" my PBs with me to my other computers.
To build a PB one needs to create a DOCX file. Those files can be converted to PDF files. The PDF files can be transferred to mobile devices and read there as PDF. Not as good as havening them in Logos but they can be read there
The issue I mentioned, was that the section is in different places, in different mss's ... suggesting an added account (or returned account). I've never gotten too worried:

That is the reader of the lectionary for Pentecost reads John 7:37-52 and then to complete the reading jumps to John 8:12 .

Thanks David. What is the SCAN method?
The scan command allows you to specify a drive where Logos can discover resources e.g. scan d:\resources (in the GO/Command Box). My method is not to use UPLOAD for PBBs. Does mean that I need to manually use the SCAN method on my second machine. But as they can not be used on mobile units why bother?
I haven't read the book.
I have read the book. Rather then have separate books, Bible and a Lectionary, according to the author they marked up the Bible to where the Lectionary readings were. For Pentecost the reading was John 7:37-52 followed by John 8:12 . So, according to the author, they put marks on John 7:37-52 that

A FRESH ANALYSIS OF JOHN 7:53-8:11 WITH A TOUR OF THE EXTERNAL EVIDENCE James Snapp, Jr. Many writers on the pericope adulterae claim that that section of the book of John should not be considered as part of scripture as there are notes in the margins telling the copyist to skip this section. This book explains that those marks are misinterpreted. That
