• Where are the files stored on a tablet / phone: Internal or external?

    I Am looking at a Android tablet with 128 Gig storage internal and 1 TB Micro SD card external. The old Verbum / Logos app had to run on internal. And I have no idea where the resources were. Can the latest apps run on external? And is resource storage on the internal or external [SD card] ? On most devices internal is small / limited and external is
Just want to make sure if you're certain you can use that 1TB card for resources.
On the other hand my current has 32 Gig internal and the Tab active 3 will have 128 Gig internal. [Researching your question on use of external]
That's what I did a while back. However, I didn't notice any speed difference.
Speed differences may depend on how many dynamic collections one has and maybe their size. And there was some talk on effect on start up time. [Only repeating what others have said as I have zero dynamic collections]

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab Active3 Enterprise Edition 8” Tablet

    I need to upgrade my 8 inch tablet. 8 inch ones are ‘rare’. This one is a little on the expensive side [$450] 4 Gig Ram 2.7 GHz WIFI with 128 Gig storage internal and 1 TB Micro SD card external. Could put my entire library on this one. Anyone have experience with this tablet? Verbum for Android Question: The old version needed to run on internal memory
Every time a collection is edited it is reevaluated.
[[Or if it is a dynamic collection it may be reevaluated more often]] There is a workaround: Most of the collections this applies to are Dynamic ones. So, save the rules string to a rules document file. Then tag every member of the collection with a special

    Question: What is the size of the PBB file? That was seen as a reason that upload did not work in other discussions.
The Clear Word is an excellent paraphrase
Yes, and for an Adventist it does "pull" things together. For a non member it has added too many "Adventist thoughts" when compared to a Bible. My comment on the Clear Word's rendering of Exodus 1:8 Where it states "Then a foreign king began to rule over Egypt who didn
And yes, Mr . Ames, I agree absolutely. This project would be really tough, if not impossible for Logos to do (...) But the awesome thing with the ability to create Personal Books, (...) and to create things that do not have to be perfectly formatted. And plus the ease in which Logos made creating them is such a huge bonus;
29,000 pages
And that is why the Personal Book Builder is one of the best tools in Logos / FL. It allows "us" to add books that FL will never add.

  • Re: Technical question on moving files

    The other Dave will know more BUT you will not need to rebuild the PBB until you need to change it. That way you can take your time in updating where the files live. Try to make it easy by choosing Path names very similar to the old path name. Then make a file with all of the old path names [Maybe the 'dir /x /s >dir.txt' commend from the DOS level

    On the Verbum home page under the explore section click in the gear shaped item on right side of the screen. Click on Verbum Training Videos. That will activate a card labeled “Ver 9 class” The first two are “Welcome to Verbum” a three minute overview and “Getting Started” a thirty minute class in moving around in Verbum.
