  • Re: B4 Syntax Search Bug?

Similarly to Dewayne, I can open the search window, select any of the 4 databases, and select query. When I select query there are templates for Cascadia, OpenText, and Anderson-Forbes, but none for Lexham. If I select a template I can put in a search term, but I cannot create a new search. Like Dewayne I have no recent searches. When I put in a search

  • Re: Copy from Hebrew bible to Word for Mac

Just a thought… Libronix 3 and Logos 4 Mac and Windows all paste Hebrew into Pages '09 just fine. I've never had a problem with it and the text is very editable. That said, the kerning in Pages is not very good and the pointing in Hebrew can change pretty significantly as you increase or decrease text size depending on the font used. The pointing stays

  • Display problems in B2

Just as an FYI here are some display problems I've noticed. These are in B2. 1. Naming of K&D looks like HTML code problem. 2. Note that there are no summary results descriptions in this search analysis window. 3. No descriptions or icons in the tabs of the windows in the right pane with more than 2 tabs open. Note that the search parameters window

  • Re: Logos 4 for MAC taking all my system resources

I'm seeing similar behavior, particularly when I do several actions in sequence, like using up/down arrows multiple times or using scroll wheel on mouse to move thru text. This afternoon I crashed the program by using to cycle thru parallel resources. Logs are attached for that crash. I started seeing this in A26/27 ( http://community.logos.com/forums

Tommy, The second time I had highlighted text in a commentary or journal (can't remember which) when I got the spinning beachball of death. I wasn't able to do anything more on the computer until L4M crashed. I wasn't doing a search, had no windows linked, nothing that would have required CPU cycles, just highlighting text. BTW, prior to both of these

Here's another of the same, later in the day yesterday, with not nearly so many resources open. CPU usage is very high, computer—not just L4M—becomes unusable, and eventually the program crashes. Logs attached. 7573.Archive2.zip

Something similar to what Chris has seen. After doing a search of my journals, and opening a number of articles (15+), the program all but stopped responding. I could scroll down a couple of lines in the article, but then the program would freeze again. I use iStat menus to monitor CPU usage and the load on a single core was 100%. This cycled between

Tom, I (think I) just tried what you suggested without success. I turned on Arno Pro, opened Logos 4 Mac, and typed set greek font to Arno Pro in the command line. When I went to the preferences pane, Arno Pro was not an option for Default, Greek, or Hebrew fonts. The only difference I note is that I'm using Suitcase Fusion 2 as a font manager, not

Bob and Development team, A23 is a gem and works like a champ. I've been moving thru the alphas—and occasionally Logos 4 Win—during my first 2 years at Dallas Seminary and have nothing but high praise, after having used Libronix on the Win platform since 2000. Just finishing 2nd year of Hebrew and using the Mac version to write exegetical papers was

Guys, the problem seems to be the same that many of us have seen on 22.1. There is a problem with the lectionary and it's covered in this thread: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/18663.aspx Tom Philpot's response from the link above is: "I can confirm that it is a problem with the Lectionary Tool, specifically if there are more than 9 readings (as

I did a search I was looking at the text from a footnote in one of the resources that was in the search results. The footnote didn't make sense for the article, so I opened the resource and went to that footnote. Note that the expanded footnote text from the footnote in the search result (first image) does not match the expanded footnote text from the

  • Re: Bibliographic citation lacking date, original publisher, etc

Tommy, neither. I was reading from the hardcopy book. I don't have any of the revised Word commentaries on my machine; all the volumes I own have the 2002 date. I was just noting the reason for the change: Tommy Nelson now owns Word; Word no longer exists. Seth
