I really like this dictionary. I used it quite a bit during the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. Most of the entries are around 10 paragraphs, so you get good essential information, without having to sift through the details of a large entry.

So... Anybody here planning on using their stimulus check from the Feds for more Logos? :)

I agree! This book, now in a second edition, needs to be in Logos! Not an e-book.

Yeah! ordered both

I took Brother Mark's docx and tidied it up, removing the mid-sentence paragraphs, fixed cover page to show, fixed character spacing, added chapters (headers in doc). I know for a fact that there is overlapping, i.e. the very same material, in the ESV Literary Study Bible Notes and Literary Introductions to the Books of the Bible . However, even though I own LIBB, I still pre-ordered the Notes because it has specific remarks about the text. I would suggest you review ESV LSB at Amazon and the Look Inside feature

You can read (Chapter 4) it in the preview on Google Books . The church's self-sacrificing response is heroic. That chapter was based

I've really enjoyed the first volume and felt it made a unique contribution among New Testament introductions.
I think from previous posts that the difference is merely the manner in which the Hebrew text is presented. I'm the earlier edition it's transliterated, whereas the later version the Hebrew script is used. I don't believe the content is otherwise different.
I can confirm this.

While I'm not Roman Catholic, I've found each book in this collection to be valuable. With regards to the Passion Week, you probably can't find more detailed studies than Brown's Death of Christ and Schnabel's Jesus in Jerusalem .

I just want Logos to run smoother! I've been working with it all day on an important project and have been thoroughly frustrated with its frequent long delays with simple tasks like underlining, spinning circles, not responding messages, and crashing. Uggh!
