It appears to me that the 2nd edition of notes is actually less notes. If I'm reading the link below correctly, 3,300 notes were eliminated because they too mundane. https://netbible.com/changes/

Why isn't there a video demonstration of how this resource works?

I randomly picked a few pictures to copy and paste into PowerPoint. I found that all the images are crisp and clear. Sometimes in Windows, for reasons I can't explain, I find that the Paste Option can make a difference. Have you experimented with all your available Paste options? I echo that thought. May this strand remain active until Carta comes!

I found there are several Carta maps inside The Rose Then and Now Bible Map Atlas by Paul H. Wright. It's an excellent book!
Yes, I have this resource too. But I still really hope that we can get all the Carta resources

Is the volume on 2 Samuel higher than $19.99?

Thinking about local church resources... someone on the forums, a regular I believe, writes small group curriculum for their church, available for others to access on the web. Anyone know who that might be? I meant to bookmark it, but didn't...

While I'm not necessarily interested in the sub-topic of afterlife and rez, I am interested in a general work on Apocrypha and Pseudopigrapha. Will these book aid such a study? Opinions anyone?
Look at the...
Thanks MJ! You confirm what I suspected. This study is a lot more complicated than I first thought.

This is a topic of interest to me, because this spring I'm teaching a seminar entitled, "Books Not in the Bible." In my initial research and gathering of materials, I'm finding that one of the first challenges is how one defines terms (as discussed above) and then second, how one then categorizes books. If anyone is aware of books or resources that

1. Speed. The constant message (Not Responding) is frustrating. 2. Make graphics editable to suit specific teaching purpose. Overall, I like Logos, use it daily, and very grateful for it!

I can give another example, since I experienced it recently. I was teaching on Jonah and wanted to show the direction of his disobedient travel. The "Jonah's Travel" map was excellent. It showed a directional map of all the movement in Jonah. It showed the location of both Nineveh and Tarshish. But again, it had too much information on one slide. The

What I really wish is that such images were fully capable of being edited. There are many Faithlife slides that I'd love to use in my teaching, but there full of too much information and cannot be removed, so I can point students to a specific aspect. So for example, make it possible for every stop on Paul's missionary journeys to be edited.

Here's a wonderful tribute from Carey Newman

I'm teaching on the book of Jonah and I really, really like the media slide, "Jonah's Travels," but it's also very frustrating! It has too much information on the one slide. The material needs to be broken up, in order to address the specific teaching need. In my case, I don't want information on Jonah's hometown, but the location of Joppa, Tarshish

I have the original vol. 2, which has both John and Acts. Is 2a (John) and 2b (Acts) a revision of each, or just split apart?

I too find all the flags, figures, etc. annoying. I wish Logos would make the default off, not on.

On pre-pub right now are several videos that supplement Zondervan books. While its nice that these videos will be integrated into the Logos platform, I must say the prices, even for pre-pub, are quite expensive, when compared to the price for stand alone DVD in the Zondervan Academic catalog. To the buyer, I would suggest: Beware or Be Aware.
