Does anyone know if Faithlife has plans to make Personal books that have been uploaded available on the mobile app, especially iPad? And if, when it might happen?!
-
Thanks Dylan. I'm trying TW Cen MT as a workaround - seems OK at the moment. But looking forward to getting back use of Calibri! I don't like serif fonts for on-screen, and Arial is too brash!!!
-
In Program Settings, it's Calibri, 110%. I tried varuiosu scaling factors in the Bible resource itself. Similar behaviour at different sizes.

Further indications of over-notifying notes(!) - e.g. in the Psalms, the Book 1 is headed by a referebnce (Psalms 1-41) and then all the notes indicators for Psalms 1-41 appear there! This is superfluous, unnecessary, untidy, wrong!!! (See attachment) I suepect this is symptomatic of the wider problem.

Hey Dylan. I went to Lv 5 (where there is no highlighting and no Notes nearby), turned off Notes, and Visual Filters and Reading Plans. Same behaviour. Turned off just Notes. Same behaviour. Hope that helps.
-
Thanks Dylan. I've emailed the link back. When I watch the video back, the behaviour looks even more weird!
-
Thanks Bradley. Good idea. I've made a video file but it's quite big (14MB). It shows how in NIV and ESV columns are wacky - but in NIVUK they work as expected! Can you eitehr give me a public upload folder where I can place it, or email me on my account so I can send you a Dropbox link please?
-
Thanks. No, it's just plain text in the Bible.

I am running WIndows 7. Maybe someone from Logos could confirm that column behaviour has been changed in the latest version - or guarante it hasn;t been touched in the code!!!
-
I open the Bible in the NIV. I click in the text. I press right-arrow. The next parallel resopurce (NIVUK) does not appear (bug). I press left-arrow. The previous paralel resource does appear (NIVrV) but I cannot then go to press left or right arrow again to keep moving through resources as the cursor has moved into reference window (bug)! I move to

Hi Graham. It seems that the NIV and ESV are affected. A commentary I'm looking at does not seem to be. It's not that Logos never shows columns. I am in Exodus 22 for example. In a pop-up window as I widen the window columns do appear, but they're really wide. Also if I force say 2 columns when the window is wide but only showing one, it may flash up

Logos just updated ityself to Logos Bible Software 6.6 6.6.0.0056 Now columns are not working correctly. reading thios morning it looked OK but then when I paged down the number or columns changed - and now it seems whatever I do it only allows one column. I have tried Auto (my usual setting) as well as numbers - but this gets ignored. It sometimes

Having paid a load for mobile ed - but not having the resources to buy Platinum edition or whatever - it would be a really good idea if the reading articles in locked resources could be made available to purchasers of the mobile ed course. ???

What do you mean by "an error in tagging", computer or human error?!!! Essentially it comes down to the notes being tagged in cross-references in all types of resource. This didn't happen previously.

Thanks Mike - using the alt-key does the trick!

It's mainly a question about how the Logos Bible app performs on different Android phones. I don't want a "plus" or phablet device - too bulky! I have an iPad mini when I want to use a tablet. I am really happy with the size of the screen and phone with the iPhone 4 - but wonder whether I can justify £549 for a new iPhone5S and if an "equivalent" Android
-
My iphone 4S has a problem, so I am thinking about replacing it. Maybe with an Android device! My main question is, does the Logos Bible app for Android have the same functionality as the iOS app, or does its development lag someway behind? The secondary question is, what Android phones do people use for Logos - what do I need for it to operate in a

Thanks!

This didn't happen in Logos 5. It is a bug I think. It's really quite annoying to have note markers on cross references. Can the development team comment please?! Maybe there is a good reason for this?

I want to select the first verse or two from a paragraph. So I place the mouse very carefully over the verse number, but as soon as I drag on to the second line of the paragraph, the whole paragraph is selected. I would expect to be able to select the first couple of lines without getting the whole paragraph. I would expect that if I place the mouse
