I have been using Logos for a bit over a year now and I must say that my Bible study has been revolutionized. I talk about my experience with everyone I know, and have even led some to purchase or upgrade. With the unveiling of Logos 4, my world has been rocked once again and I have been thoroughly impressed and blessed by the Logos team. When I purchased

It's nice to see a positive post for a change on the forums. I don't post very often for the very reason of negativity by so many on here (it is discouraging to read sometimes). This doesn't mean I don't hold Logos accountable as a business, but I am certainly thankful for their efforts and a great, high-quality product. I know that not all the "bugs

Alright, in my feeble attempt to help someone else to get rid of the Lectionary off the home page, I recognized that I do not know how to set the 'default' Lectionary. I do not want to use the Catholic Lectionary, but the United Methodist one. Has anyone figured out how to do this? Thanks! -Aaron

Correction, the 'lectionary' is not removable via this method, sorry. I was ahead of myself there :)

For me, the Lectionary does appear on the blue bar at the top. If you select 'customize' at the lower left hand corner of your screen when Logos is maximized, there is an option to select 'lectionary' (or, deselect) 'lectionary' and it disappears. I don't know if this is what you were looking for?

Count my vote. I am a PC

I also have a Dell Studio 17 (1735), just recently having updated to Windows 7 and last night installing Logos 4 Platinum. Logos works like a charm and I have had no problems to speak of.

I am considering the upgrade as well and would like to see a comparison of what I have versus what is in the new package. Thanks!

Hey all, thank you for the responses so quickly! I wanted to use the dropdown 'search all unlocked Bibles' option that was there the whole time I feel like kind of a goofball having not noticed it when looking right at it! Thanks again for the quick help!!!

Oh yes! Thank you Phillip - I feel like such a goof, it was there the whole time!!! Thanks again!

I apologize for posting this twice, I did not see it post the first time.

I would like to find a way to search multiple Bible versions while doing a Bible search. I think there was a video tutorial on this, but I cannot remember where. Can anyone recall how to do this? Thanks!
-
I thought I saw a video on how to do this, but cannot remember where. My question is how one can do a Bible search of more than one version at a time, so that the versions may be compared. What I usually have done is to select 'Search' from the menu bar, then 'Bible Search' from the menu and have done a search. But there is no way to select multiple
I often do concordance work, or use the Englishman's feature, and know of no easy way to select verses and put them into a verse list. For instance, if I am doing a search on "Father" in John's Gospel, and find 12 verses out of the 60 or 70 possible verses, I would love to "select" the 12 I want to export to a verse list
For transfering files between computers I use Windows Live Mesh . I've been using it for around three months and it looks great so far. It synchs selected folders automatically and you get 5GB online storage.
Thanks Johan, I'll look into the Windows Live Mesh as it looks promising. It looks as though it is in beta
It would be nice to know, however I feel better already. I like to have the last fresh version of any resource
It would be nice to know, but just as you say, I too feel better having the newest version. For me, it is kind of like getting the mail, I just like to know I'm thought of
I order by download whenever possible. Advantages: 1) I get my books more quickly 2) I don't pay for shipping.
Ditto for me. I look at it as another bonus of a digital library. I am not the most organized of people (just step into my office and you will see), so to receive more cd-rom's and DVD's is only to add
The only drawback is I have to repeat the process if I want the most up to date notes on both computers.
Thanks for the response, Ron I am aware of the transferring of files back and forth, and the drawback of having to repeat the process each time. I wonder if there is some way to synch our notes with the internet

Good Evening Friends, I apologize in advance if this question has already been posted on the forums, but I was not able to find anything related at this point. Anyway, my question is whether or not there is an easy way to share note files between two different installs of Logos (I use Logos mostly on my laptop, but occasionally find myself using it
