  • Transfer to new PC

I am running Logos 5 on my Windows 7 PC. I have bought a new Windows 7 PC (much better hardware). Both 64-bit. Both are running fine. What is the best way to transfer all my files / library to the new PC? Can I install Logos 5 on the new one and then just copy the data somehow? I would prefer not to download everything again. Bandwidth is limited. Any

  • Default folder

What is the default folder for resources that Logos 5 uses during installation? I still have Libronix on my PC and I want to remove it (and its resources) but I do not want to mess with Logos 5. If I run uninstall on Libronix will all its resources also be removed automatically?

  • Upgrade to 5: How much to download?

I am currently running Libronix. I need to upgrade to Logos 5. I do not have any base packages but a number of other products on CD. My concern is how much I will have to download during the installation. My internet is not the fastest, and it is capped. Can anyone tell my? What happens if I should loose the connection during installation? Can it pick

  • Re: IE 10 and Libronix

My personal experience is that IE10 disables Libronix' search function. Everything else works OK. But without a search function the program loses most of its usefulness. I am considering upgrading to Logos 5 but without purchasing new books. My only problem is that the installation will need to download all my resources again. That I don't understand

Thanks for all the help guys. All patches are installed. Still no go. It seems the best option is for me to upgrade to Logos 5. All the other options have drawbacks. Leon

Richard: I used CCleaner to clean all temp files as well as the registry. Still no luck :-( Dave: Now that you mention it... I upgraded to IE 10 last week. I run Windows 7 Prof 64-bit. Now the problem makes sense. Any other suggestion? On my laptop I run Logos 5 with no problem (Win 7 Pro 32-bit and IE 10), but I do not like the user interface. I would

Richand, thanks for the help so far. I installed all the updates you suggested above. Rebooted. Still no luck. My search function is still stuck on a previous search. I have tried to limit the search (eg New Testament), but the results are still the same. I only get "verteer". What can I try next?

  • Search function stuck

My Libronix 3.0c search function seems stuck. No matter what word I type in, it always returns the results for "verteer" which is a previous search. I have cleared the list of previous searches, but that does not help. I have rebooted, still no luck. Any ideas (apart from re-installing the software)? Leon
