Another method is to open the Factbook to Jesus Christ , then scroll down to "Translated As" and click "Jesus." The first two instances ( Ode 14:14 and Ode 14:27 ) are glitchy, but the rest show only when Jesus is used alone. Ἰησοῦς under "referred to as" will give you the 605 times that skip the

Thanks for the above posts, all very helpful. Good point in your last line Dave - something I hadn't considered - additions which I presume mostly occur in the gospels?

Is it possible to use Logos to see how the Biblical authors refer to Jesus? I can of course just do a search for 'Jesus' and a search for 'Christ' (which for Acts will give me 73 v. 25.) But of course some of those 73 references to Jesus are to 'Jesus Christ' or 'the Lord Jesus'. So is there a way of searching where you could search for 'Jesus' and

A number of years ago, Logos had a pre-pub for 58 volumes of Calvin's lectures & sermons, some of which they were planning to freshly translate: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/83002.aspx Sadly the whole thing was cancelled, I assume due to lack of interest.

This sounds such a great project - thank you! Maybe I'm missing it, but at this point is there an index anywhere of all the authors/works?

Not sure of the terminology - but I find it frustrating how small the box with the Bible reference is below, when there's clearly unused space to the far right of it (between the // and the ) In the box above I have 1 Peter 4:10 selected, but the 0 at the end drops off due to lack of space. Yes I could make the Panel wider, but I have it at exactly

I'm not sure how common that is in other commentaries - but a setting to choose whether a click took you to the translation or commentary would be great!
-
Maybe I should clarify - in this case the author's translation is a completely separate section in the book. Eg there are four chapters of translation followed by four chapters of commentary. So it's not like you can just scroll past a paragraph of translation to get to the commentary - instead you have to use the navigation pane to change to a completely

Patrick Fairbairn's commentary on the pastoral epistles contains his own translation, followed by the commentary. Searching for a passage (either within the resource or in passage guide), brings up the reference in the translation rather than his commentary. Can this be changed so it takes you to the relevant section of the commentary? (Which surely

I'm trying to create a scripture index. I have a list of sermon titles, with a scripture reference beside each one. I've copied and pasted it into a text file and tried importing as a Passage List. However that just brings in the Bible passages - how do I bring in the titles as well? Or tie the references to the relevant title? Thanks!

I have pulled together a list of the series here: http://www.shallwesingasongforyou.co.uk/2021/11/nichols-series-of-commentaries/

I have pulled together what is hopefully a complete list here: http://www.shallwesingasongforyou.co.uk/2021/11/nichols-series-of-commentaries/

A year on and still no native apple silicon support? https://appleinsider.com/articles/21/10/28/its-time-to-drop-apps-that-dont-support-apple-silicon-natively

The commentary has now been published. It is part of the series 'Classic Reformed Theology' of which the first two are in Logos, but volumes 3 and 4 (and now this one) are missing.

Coming up on the 10-year anniversary of this request...would be great to see this series!

Looks like those who had bought the book have now been given the full 3-volume Works of Binning (as of July 2020). That's great - thanks! However Binning's works are still open for bids on Community Pricing - surely it should now just be available to buy for those who want it?
Not trying to cause problems but shouldn’t this be included to the people who owned the original? It originally stated it was the whole product (I could be wrong) but now it just says volumes 1 and 2. I now have to purchase volume 3??
Agree - especially since the product is entitled 'A commentary on the whole epistle
I'm a little disturbed that after being noted a year ago, the product page does not give any hints that the resource is incomplete unless you read the description on volume 2. That is a bad look.
Yes, and even then it's not explicitly stated. Can we get an update on this FL? It's now been over a year since it was

Almost a year on...any update on this?
