Weighing in on the prepub cancel email- of course I appreciate you letting me know, and i was disappointed to see a cancellation (Who wouldn't want Schlatter:)!!). But the email itself was written in such a way that at first glance I thought you were sending me some Logos credit in lieu of the cancellation. I felt that was a poor move in the writing

This definitely is a huge gap in Logos. this really belongs in their charismatic packages.

thanks faithlife!

Thanks, those seemed to be all new ones.

Very good, thoughtful, direct book from a pastor who did not used to believe in hell but does now. https://vyrso.com/product/17463/hell-is-real

Hi Bob, it's very humble of you to ask. i would encourage you to think and pray long and hard before taking that step. I have seen your focus being to equip the church and a godly heart beneath that motivating it. It seems you would end up marketing materials that go drastically against that virtuous goal. I can't see that ending well, just to be honest

I sat in John Lennox's class on Science and Religion last year and found it very helpful. He is a mathemetician and apologist and so draws on a lot of experts in their fields in what he writes when out of his own area of expertise. Very thoughtful, gracious and clear. https://www.logos.com/product/26715/seven-days-that-divide-the-world-the-beginning

I don't like the Logos now idea in that it's a 2 tiered system. I would prefer that you could buy or rent any resource.

I like it for the brevity and the historical overview, and the evangelical flavor of the scholarship. I use it fairly regularly.

Tim Chester writes solid stuff on missional community - Everyday Church / Total Church. Very much about how the gospel applies to discipleship and disciplemaking. Overlaps with people like Jeff Vanderstelt / Tim Keller.

G Beale's NIGNT commentary on revelation is very edifying as well - more on the technical end than some of these... really well rooted in the OT context
