I'm referring to https://www.logos.com/product/41561/old-testament-hebrew-vocabulary specifically to In this unabridged audio edition, you’ll hear all the Hebrew words that occur 20 times or more in the Old Testament in descending order of frequency, followed by an English definition. btw is it possible to put a "size" column on logos? So I can check how heavy is a file before filing it for iPad?
-
what if the itunes backup can be setup optionally?
-
Yeah, like when I copy all my stuff to/from Goodreader (tons of pdf books). Or many others. I imagine while I'm with my home Wifi, that my logos app and the logos PC sw talk and check that my account is the same. And then I can direct from my PC what do download. For me this is a feature I'll pay for it
... but Paolo is talking about having a local backup for the sake of convenience especially when the speed of the internet does not allow fast restore.
Exactly! I feel that is someway silly that my computer and my iPad who are like 1meter distant cannot talk, and exchange safely data from logos app to logos sw.

I just updated my iPad with the iOS 8, and to make space, I deleted the logos app, after backup, sync, etc... Now, while my iPad spins downloading the 4GB of logos resources I need on my iPad, I wonder why I can't connect the iPad to my PC (or a mac) which possess all the resources I own, and copy from the PC (/mac) to my iPad, like I do with iTunes

This is blowing my mind: THE DISTINCTION OF SEX Sec. VI If the contrarieties of male and female, or rather the contrarieties which lay at the foundation of the separation of male and female, prior to their independence of one another, were united in the man, we ask, Wherein did they consist? And the answer is at hand. The male principle in man was the

yes right cp. I'm curious how those 2.500 pages more add to the content. Sometime the abridged version is short of bibliography, and not of analysis

I received an email with a new pre-pub offer: " New: Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown's Unabridged Commentary on the Old and New Testaments (6 vols.) " Do you know how much is the difference between this unabridged version in 6 volumes, and the abridged one that we all possess?
-
Yep, that was the first query I did, and it was not succesful because I dont see any specialized resource. So I asked here, in case someone knows about a resource with a different title addressing the topic. Thanks Ken, I'll start reading Franz Delitzsch today, and see what. I'll update you.

Do you have a good resource to decide what is the difference/meaning in the OT and NT among those following things : body spirit soul + flesh + blood + heart I've found only this one which looks promising https://www.logos.com/product/15984/what-is-the-soul and a lot of research in my dictionaries (NIDOTTE, NIDNTT, TLOT, TLNT, TWOT, LN, ISBE) are not

What about, when someone asks you " what time is it? " and you pull up your watch, show logos app on it and just answer " time to read the bible!!! "

So I open up Milgrom, filter out the documentary stuff that I've already studied and rejected, calculate for his missing Christology, and gain an enormous blessing from the book of Leviticus with Jacob Milgrom's help. That is so funny! I have a degree in engineering, so I can imagine the calculation and re-calculation on a piece of paper, adjusting

Hi, I was thinking about the market penetration, and the 1% of recurring customer, 10% of the user paying, etc... If we imagine that we can buy all we need in a few years, and then we dont have reason to buy more books, because we get stability and good deep wide collection, then...how can Logos survive as a company? There are only two ways, 1)selling

Sorry guys, but I disagree very much. Accordance is the fastest app (windows/iOS) I have tried so far. Whenever I search some words, some ideas, or verses or anything, Accordance gives me back quickly what I need. I agree that Logos as very large list of books, and that is why I buy on Logos and read a lot on Logos, but searching? Accordance. I agree

I love logos and i love accordance. I cannot imagine doing without both of them. I find I can do everything on logos PC app, and everything on accordance iPad app, but the other way around...not so satisfied yet

I was considering that with Hermeneia and JPS, I cover most of books of the Bible, with monography/commentary, and a good overall quality. I listed all of them, and I see they don't cover those following: Joshua, Judges, 1-2 Samuel, 1-2 Kings, Ezra-Nehemiah, Job, Proverbs, Isaiah, Lamentations, Nahum, Habakkuk, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi, Philippians

I am into 1 Peter...wow it is really a great commentary/monography. Now...how do I stop?
-
Ok, bought. Now I'll try it
