NB.Mark -- you are absolutely correct! I had missed it initially because you don't see the turn down arrow without hovering over first. Thank you! This will minimize so many distractions to the text.

You missed it. I know how to do this for ONE resource. I want it turned off Globally.

  • Re: Remove the Community Highlight

George, That is NOT community highlighting. That is a "visual filter" option. You can also turn those off but you may want to remove that filter completely. Go under your docs and look for your Visual Filters.

This is indeed frustrating. I know I've turned this off previously but opening a different book shows new community highlights. Is there a global place to turn this off for all resources? No offense to anyone, but I really don't care who else highlighted something. It can be very distracting while reading something to the point I don't want to highlight

  • Re: BUG/REQUEST: ESV Audio controls are inconveniently placed.

David, that is most likely the case since each platform has it's own default audio controls. I seriously doubt Logos wrote their own audio controller. So, instead, it will pick up the system default controller. I just think it's silly that they have this huge graphic for audio playback.

  • BUG/REQUEST: ESV Audio controls are inconveniently placed.

The audio controls are placed below a very large ESV audio graphic. Even on my very large 27" iMac, when the panes are split up, the audio controls slip below the frame edge making it impossible to access. You cannot scroll the window. You have no choice but to enlarge the window to access the controls. Not smart. The audio controls should be above

  • Logos 8 Clicking a card closes floating panels

I'm trying to watch the MP starter videos in a floating panel to follow along. When I click a card, Logos closes the floating panel when opening to that activity. That's annoying! How can I stop that behavior or is this a bug?

That fixed it. Interesting though, I had to do a download and install. When I said to check for updates, it kept saying no updates were available. Thank you for your help.

  • Feature Request - Authoring

I used to use PC Study Bible that included tools that allowed users to author their own resources. If I understand correctly, the resources for Logos are xml files so it seems to me that authoring my own resources that I can cross reference and index is not too far removed from this idea. What would it take to publish tools that would allow me to author

I was just as lost as you with the link sets until I watched Mark Barnes video on sermon prep. Link sets are a way of keeping various open panes in sync with each others. Watch the video it will make more sense. http://vimeo.com/8269101

I experienced a not quite so complicated a problem. I simply clicked on the family tree for Mary and it crashed. Seeing as there is a known bug on this one, I won't be doing that again.

Ok, this may be becuase I've had to install a few times once on my mac, then a failed attempt on VMware, then on a pc, then a successful attempt on VM ware. Anyway, that's not the point.
