Hello All! This morning as I started Logos 4, it crashed while playing the music, loading the homepage. I tried it several times. I also started it with a blank page, and it worked, but whenever I try to load the homepage, it crashes. I tried all kinds of things, restarting, reconfiguring my startup programs, etc. Note that yesterday it was working

By the way, here is the log file. 5861.Logos4Crash.txt

That's great! Thanks Dave! Works like a charm.

Wee early this morning I opened up Logos hoping to do some reading in Greek only to find that, OI VEY, my NA 27 and UBS 4 are missing. They appear in my library, but without book covers. Upon clicking them, Logos crashes, and I don't mean goes to sleep, I mean bang, that's it. So I looks in my resource folder and I can't find any file resembling NA27

5751.Logos4Crash.txt Sorry I didn't zip it. It doesn't accept 7-zip files.

Yes, yes, yes! Exactly! I couldn't have said it better myself. I am in an area where youtube is blocked, and I just can't watch them without downloading the whole bunch of them. It's inconvenient. So I second that suggestion. God bless!

This post is going to sound dumb. But since I first laid eyes on Libronix many years ago, I've always wanted something like it. This last winter, I finally got my wife's imprimatur for the purchase. I have been supporting Logos ever since, buying resources above what I probably should on my salary. Having said that, I have but one complaint: I can't

Wow! All of this stuff is very helpful! Making a goal is important, and I also am already beginning to put my paper resources and laptop side by side. Although really they seem like different worlds. The computer world lacks the feeling of reality to me, sometimes. I think one of my biggest problems is having an attention span problem. My thinking is

Thanks! I will definitely be taking these pieces of advice to heart. I am really glad I asked this question. There are so many practical suggestions. And I hope other people will be helped by these suggestions as well. Maybe there are a few people out there who struggle as I do. By the way, I do want to help others, too. I read the forums, but I am

Hey everybody! I am wondering why Ladd's Theology of the New Testament is not appearing in my books, nor have I gotten a download of it that I know of. Wasn't it supposed to be shipped yesterday? Did any of you get it yet? I've been whipped up to a frenzy by some of the glowing reviews I've seen some of you write, and I confess that I am a little impatient

Whoo-hoo! It came through! Logos is awesome! [<:o)] Too bad there's no 'do a jig' emoticon!

Hi everyone! I seem to be having a problem with displaying fonts recently. I had never noticed it before, but, for example in Josephus and the New Testament, I get things like Schrer, with a box where the o+umlaut should be. Anybody know what to do?

Welcome to Logos! I, too, am a Greek-studying layman. Some people who attended seminary will no doubt recommend resources which can be highly technical. They are difficult to get into unless your IQ is above 120, or you have a lot of extra time to produce headaches. As for me, I would recommend works be David Alan Black. He has a number of them here

I am guessing that what you mean is Logos is working in "offline" mode. I am also guessing that when you turned your computer on you opened Logos before you connected to the internet. That could cause this problem. So try connecting to the internet before opening Logos 4. I hope my guess is right. God bless!

Hello Logos people! I really want the ISV Old Testament in Logos 4 as soon as possible. I understand they will be finishing up Isaiah soon, and I am so excited I could jump. Please consider bringing this together for us. Thanks!!

I was thinking and remembered that my other applications sometimes act that way. I don't want to be superstitious, but it seems that software runs better when it gets "acclimated" to the environment of each computer. How that happens is beyond me. Maybe one of the software engineers could tell us why.

Yes it would be nice if they could do that. As it is, base packages cost more than the ordinary Chinese professional makes in a month, to say nothing of the ordinary Chinese pastor. If your salary is less than $50 a month, and $49 of that goes for food and clothing, there will be no way to purchase something like Logos.

All that is really quite eye-opening. Maybe it's true that I am learning not to do things that make it slower. That accords with my intuition about the matter.

Greetings all! I've been using Logos for a week now, and although it was very sluggish at the beginning, it appears to be getting faster and faster. I was wondering if it was just my imagination. I'd also like to ask if it is possible to "upgrade" or "grade over" from Bible Study to Original Languages. I realized how much I missed having Greek and Hebrew

Suddenly I've realized that I am going to have to reach deeper into my pocket.
