Looking at that thread, it seems that it was 6.3 RC2 that caused an improvement for a short time. Since then it has reverted to the user experience that I have had for many years. (I hadn't noticed a particular change with 6.3 Beta 5.) I'm now running 6.5 Beta 2. When Logos is indexing my computer, all software becomes extremely show, such that it is

Thanks, Bradley. Any particular reason for removing it? It made a huge difference to be able to open Logos without the fear that it will start indexing and make my computer almost unusable for a few hours. With resource updates now happening in the background without needing to restart, (to my mind) it makes sense that indexing should also be something

A few weeks ago a change was made to reduce the memory usage during indexing. For the first time in many years, this allowed me to use my computer (just a tiny bit slower than normal) during indexing ( resolved] 6.3 B5 Indexer memory hog?? ). Now I seem to be back to where I was before. During the long indexing, my computer is barely responsive, very

(1) On clicking on a greek word in the Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament, the Information window shows a gloss instead of the manuscript word. (2) It would be great to have root information added to LDGNT (and the OT equivalent). (3) Could the discourse markers be added to Other References in the Information window?

I was reading BECNT Luke 2.26. On clicking either of the links in footnote 19, the program crashes. This is repeatable. 56002.LogosCrash.txt
My apologies if that came across a little harsh!
Not harsh at all.
I use the info tool in all my layouts and this is a real exciting development. It is the window to access resources for deeper study in my opinion.
Yes, I have it open all of the time.
Every time I attempt to open Power Lookup, the system crashes.
Me too. This seems to be different from the problem some people are having with Information. The Power Lookup crash happens even when the Power Lookup window is already open.

Very clearly written, Phil.

After too many years, I can actually use my computer while it's indexing. Thank you.

I enjoyed both Marten Woudstra (NICOT) and Dale Ralph Davis (Focus on the Bible). Woudstra for detail, Davis for common sense.
