I don't know what I did, but the problem resolved itself. The Actions showed up as before. Thanks for your help.

Those were the instructions that I followed - at least I think I did. I right clicked the file with the Powershell window open and it gave me the option of run with in the Powershell, but I got a failure. I posted just as the wiki article instructs, but was sent here by the FL employ. By the way, thanks for your easier method of renaming the latest

Sorry I meant Dave Hooten

Greetings Brian, I am posting here per the direction of a FaithLife employee. They were working last week, now they aren't. I guess I should have anticipated this. I have done the "Easier method" That Mr. Brian Wooten had posted numerous times throughout the last few years renaming the latest file download to "system". But alas that doesn't work. Tried

Not really sure what that means "unsupported power toy" - the head of that thread refers to "Logos Smart Tags" and since they work - or worked with Logos - then I went to the Logos forum and followed the instructions found there that told me that if it fails then to start a bug thread in the Logos forum. So that is what I did. I will reply to the thread

Dave's easier alternative helped me: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/105129/727399.aspx#727399 But I had to do it for the last two updates. What ever file has the higher name 6.3.0.0074 for me, should be recopied and named system. Thanks again, Dave.

Had to do it today with the v.6.3 SR-2 - who knows about next week, hopefully they will get it right, and I had to do it with whatever update I had in May. 0056 an 0074.

Thanks Dave, I guess I am going to have to bookmark this page. Keep having to correct this problem. Seems odd that updates lead to steps backwards. But thanks for the easier way.

Having same problem - fixing a second time today. Dave's instructions solved the problem, but here we go again. Will I have to do this weekly, can someone smarter than I create a Macro that will do this or can the problem just be fixed? For as much money as I have invested and all the updates that I get I would expect progress not steps backward. Thanks

Thanks for this. It works perfectly. BTW - I tried the alternative easier route.

Thanks for the link. I am beginning to think that the "outlining feature" or "numbering format" that I use in my sermon in Word 2010 is the culprit. If I type a reference in a body text line then the "additional actions" option pops up on the right click menu, but if I am anywhere in a numbered point or an outlined point it doesn't show up. Who would

Got Logos opened. I am typing my sermon in one doc and have my research in another doc right next to it. The sermon doc will not display additional actions as a menu option while the other document next to it will.
-
Does anyone know why "additional actions" might not show up when I right click on some documents in Word 2010 and shows up in others? This is really driving me crazy.
-
Throughout the years I have seen the book 10,000 Illustrations from the Bible by Charles Little recommended (especially by John MacArthur). I think this book might be out of print, but seems like it would be a great resource that would fit in nicely with the Logos platform.

well, I am not sure that I captured a logos crash. Am I supposed to get the log when it crashes or when I succeed in opening it? I succeeded in opening it holding down the control key and then tried to go the home page. Should I delete the log and then see if one is created when it crashes?

I have the same problem and have done exactly what you have done. Checked the box and it opened. Now I have deleted the contents of the file you typed out and it still crashes. Help

Boy, this would be great and also a way to manipulate them as well - for instance say 15 results come up - you could sift through drop the unimportant ones and save those that are really helpful. Would be great.
