  • Logos 4 Mac won't fully open

An update installed today and, afterwards, Logos will not fully open. I can see the menu bar at the top of my screen, but the Homepage never opens and if I attempt to open it from the menu bar (File, Open, etc.), nothing happens. Any suggestions?

  • Help - Resources appear in Greek , really

For whatever reason, all of my resources are now appearing in Greek, however my Main page is still in English. Of course I'm trying to prepare for Bible study and can't seem my resources to appear in English. What setting am I missing? This didn't happen until after I downloaded an update last night. I use Logos on an iMac. Please help. Thanks! Christina

  • Re: Thank you!

I LOVE Logos on my Evo 4G and it also eliminates one of the major reasons why I wanted an iPhone. Although I know additional updates are desired and needed, this initial beta release is indeed great. Reading on my Evo has always been a better experience than on my iPod Touch and I hope this android release will encourage me to use Logos even more. Blessings

  • Re: OT: Oldest Christian Books allegedly Found In A Jordanian Cave

Greg, Thanks for sharing this information because I hadn't heard it yet. And, even if they wind up not being Christian in origin, it is still a really cool find that I'd be interested in reading, providing I can get a great deal in Community Pricing . Have a blessed weekend and thanks again! Christina

Same thing happened to me over the weekend, got the infamous 404 error message. However, my picture started to appear, as my Avatar, late yesterday. I bet you'll see your change before the weekend. Blessings! Christina

  • Re: Forum Week Show and Tell…

Okay, so I've wanted the Anchor Yale Bible Commentary (84 vols.) and the International Critical Commentary for ages. Missed the Anchor set on pre-pub and NEVER forgot it. So, after obtaining the "best offer" prices, I decided to purchase both sets. Although the ICC set can be found on-line in a free format (i.e. PDF, etc.), I quickly discovered, after

  • Re: still a newbie

Karen, thanks for your post. I've used Logos since 2005 and have NEVER even scratched the surface, despite having even purchased product manuals (Logos 4), along with videos. However, I'm also determined to turn this ship around because it makes no sense to have such a powerful program and resources at my disposal and not use 95% of it. So, I'm in with

  • Re: International Critical Commentary Commentary Set (Logos or EPub)

Yes, I did look at the Forum Week Sale (I'm cryptic too, not revealing anything except it made my decision making process even harder) and the button I was going to push was actually the response to the e-mail I received. However, I did actually download a couple of the books, in a PDF format - tried the Kindle format, but it didn't work, and I was

  • International Critical Commentary Commentary Set (Logos or EPub)

I am FINALLY in a financial position that would allow me to purchase the ICC set through Logos. However, I recently discovered that you can also get this set, including a download in a variety of formats, on-line for free. So, my question is, what is the justification for purchasing the set through LOGOS if I can get it in a usable format for free.

  • Re: Like-a-Thon: how about $112 for Tyndale Commentary series (49 volumes)?

How about getting the 84 volume Anchor Yale Bible set for $112.00? Okay, so I don't live in the realm of reality, but it was worth a try. Thanks for pointing out the Tyndale Commentaries and yes, I did hit the "Like" button. Now, I'll just go back and look at the picture of my beloved Anchor set. Blessings, Christina

Thank you so much for sharing. I hadn't even turned on the television this morning, so I didn't even know. Time is truly filled with swift transition. I will certainly continue to keep Japan, along with all others impacted by this earthquake. Blessings, Christina

  • Re: Any News of March Madness?

Thanks so much for asking the question because I was wondering the same thing. It's great to know that the sale will continue, now all I have to do is to stay away from the Apple store so I won't be tempted to upgrade to an iPad 2. This would leave me with a few dollars for the March Madness sale. Blessings! Christina
