  • Re: Is Verbum right for me?

I purchased Verbum because I love the bible and love to learn. Like you, I am a father of three that does not NEED the product but use it as a tool to grow in my faith. I agree with Dan's comment above. I started out buying the Catechism Collection in 2012. My perception at that time was that the Logos Base Packages were too expensive and I could not

  • Re: Getting started in Logos 6

Hi Kenneth, Most of us have lived through your frustration of trying to learn Logos. It is a complex program with a long learning curve and truly 'simple' learning tools are only going to skim the surface. However, it is well worth your time to learn the program. To get 'your money's worth' out of your Logos investment you will probably have to invest

  • Re: QUESTION: What features of Verbum would not be avilable only having the Ctechism Collection?

I started out buying the Catechism Collection in 2012. My perception at that time was that the Logos Base Packages were too expensive and I could not justify the expense. But at $42.36 [the cost at that time] I had no problem investing in the CCC collection. After using the CCC collection for a few months my perception of Logos changed. I still believed

  • Re: Selecting Which Resources to Use.

Hi David, The answer is yes and no. This is what I mean: You can prioritize resources in your library and that will determine which bibles and commentaries Logos will use to build the above layout when you click on a reading in your lectionary. However, you are stuck with the default logos layout and there is no way to change it. I was also unhappy

  • Layout including Lectionary question...

Whenever I click on the preferred lectionary on the home page it opens a layout with today's readings. Very convenient but the layout is not my favorite. So I create a layout more to my liking and save it. However, when I open my saved layout it open the lectionary readings to the date of my last save, not today's reading. Q1: Is there a way to have

  • NASB95 not interlinear

I purchased the NASB95 bible thinking it was interlinar for I had seen it as such in training videos. However, after downloading, it does not have the interlinear feature. What is happening? I have Verbum 6 Scholar.

  • Inconsistent Search Results

I ran a bible search on my top bibles for and some bibles like the ESV and NRSV return 80+ hits. However, other bibles such as the NRSVCE and RSVCE return only 5 hits. I checked the greek underneath and it looks identical for both. What is going on? Are some bibles tagged better than others? Am I doing something wrong? Thank you for your feedback.

  • Re: LearnLogos.com or Morris Proctor or None?

I purchased Udemy for $6 and learnlogos.com for $50. I completed Udemy and it was well worth it. I just started learnlogos.com and the videos are more polished and detailed. They pause allowing you to try things for yourself and then you click 'play' when ready to continue. So far learnlogos looks like a good value as well. I have learned a lot.

  • Re: Question about the placement logic of Timeline Events

Hi Rick, Don't read the list top to bottom. Read it left to right. The leftmost event is earlier and the rightmost is later. The blue bubbles follows the date timeline across the top. I hope this helps! Robert Pupo
