  • Re: Questions About Old vs New Logos Cloud Plans

I was not informed of the change. I had a Logos Cloud Professional plan that expired on May 25. I had about 4000 added books in my old pro plan. When I went to renew I found out that the new Pro plan had about 900 added books. i can understand quality over quantity but this seems to be a huge change. Even the new ultimate plan only contains about 2500

  • Run Proclaim from iPad

As more people like me are moving to an iPad (I have a 128GB iPad Pro 12.9) as their daily use computer it would be great to be able to use my iPad as the presentation computer for Proclaim. Being that the presentation is in the Cloud it should not be a problem to allow the Remote app to present the presentation via the iPad HDMI adapter to the projection

  • Re: Running Bible app on SD Card on NEW Kindle Fire 7

My biggest concern is having the data stored on the SD card, so I have offline access to my library. The Fire 7 only has 5.5G net storage internally, so it can fill pretty quickly. Bible Screen loaded to the SD card.

  • Running Bible app on SD Card on NEW Kindle Fire 7

I just bought a NEW Kindle Fire 7 and a 128GB SD card. I would like to download the app and books to the SD card and save the 5.5GB of internal memory for mail and Kindle books that have to be in internal memory. The current app 4.6.5 does not download to SD card and there is no option to Move to SD card. Other FL apps loaded to the SD Card, when will

  • Soncino and Artscroll Digital Books to Logos Resources

It would be great to add Soncino's Midrash Rabbah (soncino.com) that is already in digital format via Davka Software (davka.com). It would be great to add Soncino's Books of the Bible Commentary Set too. Artscroll (artscroll.com) is also digitizing their books including Talmud and Shulchan Aruch. Would be great to make these digital books into Logos

Thanks Jonathan! I did do the free month with Premium. Wish that I had seen that Professional was an option. It is good to know that all the features of Logos Now are included in Premium and Professional. Sean

Thanks. I wish that I could have tried it out for my free month, but couldn't find the option. I am wondering if there is any problem using Logos Now and Logos Cloud together. I would like to have all the resources of the Logos Cloud Professional especially the ICC OT & NT plus would like to have all the functionality of Logos Now. I have been using

Phil, It would be great to get a listing of resources in the 4 levels of Logos Cloud. Looking forward to the list.

  • Re: Bob, is there any point to invest in Logos?

Sadly when it comes down to it, this whole thread is inspired on speculation that Logos will completely change their business model that has over 2 million users and go to a 100% subscription model. Logos Now is a subscription to add services to the desktop software, you can't just subscribe to Logos Now and not have at least the Logos 6 Engine. For

  • Re: Bob, is there any point to invest in Logos?

My concern is that people seem to be ignoring that Logos Now has no effect on their current Logos Software it still works the same as it did before and will continue to work the same for the future as Logos will be offering free updates to the software and resources. For those that wait the next couple years for Logos 7 you should see the most popular

It was not directed at any individual. I was just saying generally if you do not want the extras available in Logos Now then that is your choice, but it is not helpful to complain about not receiving resources that you choose not to purchase.

Logos Now is a new way to access new features in Logos 6. If you are not interested in paying for them that is ok, but don't complain that you are not getting the extra features. Logos Now has no effect on the current or future usability of Logos 6. Logos 6 will continue to receive updates to the software and resources for free. To me the "best of Logos

As David has mentioned it appears that you are not getting the difference between updates that will continue to be free like Logos 6.3 that was released last week and the updates that I just received to one of my tools. Upgrades are paid. For example if I went from Logos 6 Free Engine to Logos 6 Gold. It could be said that Logos 6 is an early upgrade

  • Re: Bob, is there any point to invest in Logos?

From the Logos FAQ: What’s the difference between free software updates in Logos 6 and Logos Now? Logos 6 users will continue to receive free updates to their software: bug fixes, performance enhancements, improvements to existing features, and updates to their resources, datasets, media collection, and interactive media. Logos Now members, in addition

I trust Faithlife and Bob on this one. They state in their FAQ that the products receive free updates. https://www.logos.com/faq David made a good point that Logos Now could be seen like a paid upgrade. I am currently using the free Logos 6 Engine with my last paid version being Logos 5 Portfolio, so any extra features that I can add to my Logos 6 software

  • Re: Bob, is there any point to invest in Logos?

David, is correct there is no change in updating the software, you should have received Logos 6.3 last week. There is no change to upgrades and support. What is being offered in Logos Now are new features that may end up in Logos 7 if the user base likes them. It is like how Gold and above receives all the new datasets of Logos 6. If you decide to only

  • Re: Bob, is there any point to invest in Logos?

Doc, Logos Now is a way to in essence get access to Logos 7 features early. Rather than waiting 2 years for Logos 7 and paying a lot more than $8.99 per month for the new features you can get early access now. Your second class status is therefore self imposed. If you don't want the features of Logos Now at this time then you can wait for another year

I join you in thanking Bob, John (my sales rep) and all the People at Faithlife for the best in Bible Study tools. Logos helped me turn B and C papers into consistent A papers as I had over 6,000 books at my use for all my papers. I know that I only use about 5% of Logos potential, but I look forward to learning more each day. Thanks and blessings to
