Us this Mac or Windows? On Windows I see that the highlight button is missing from the toolbar but you can still highlight Notes text using the hotkey (Control + H). The highlighted text for notes is a gold color on the Notes screen. The non-highlighted text is always white. All highlighted text appears blue in the area where you enter/type the text

We do have a way to get slides in a presentation that may work for you. In Proclaim in the menu under you name select "View presentation online" This opens your presentation in a browser (to documents.logos.com). Each slide in your presentation is displayed here (a couple exceptions but your Announcements will be here). In the browser right click a

Unfortunately you cannot overlay text onto a Video Service Item. However, you can create a Content Service Item and use the video as the background. On the Content Service Item you can create all the standard fields. Does this work for you?

When you duplicate a presentation we will not create new copies of all the backgrounds, videos, etc... A single background image on your hard disk will be used in both presentations. So, while Proclaim can use a fair amount of disk space because we can store copies of backgrounds on your machine for offline and fast access, duplicating a presentation

Hi Ron, You should be able to modify the text effects for songs. Are you using Mac or Windows?

When I try to play that video I get a message indicating the content is being blocked. Is this what you are getting? As far as I can tell SME is Sony Music Entertainment and they feel they have rights to some portion of the content in that video. I believe the content owner (the person who uploaded the video) can protest this with YouTube but, to be

You can add the video as a background to a service item (i.e. a Content Service Item). You will not get the video controls or audio (it will be a "motion background") but you can place text/foreground images on it. Does this work for your need?

Yes. Videos that you have (i.e. an mpg file) and YouTube videos can be playing in Proclaim. Use a Video service item for videos and a Web Page item for YouTube videos that are online (you need to have web connectivity when you present a YouTube video). Add a Video or Web Page Service Item For YouTube videos add the Web Address (URL) for the video to

Content Service Items can have multiple fields on it. Each field has different styling properties (including font and size). You can only have a single "Main" field (the multi-line field) but you can have multiple other single line fields (i.e. Custom). To add them use the button with a "T" on it in the upper right: Select one of the fields you add

I apologize for the interruption during your invitational. Spencer will take a look at your presentation, we'll see if we can see the same thing here, and we'll get back to you. Thanks for the screenshot and the logs - this will help quite a bit.

Well good to hear that changing the type of file helped with getting the video to load - what were the new and old file types? Regarding the log file: Proclaim creates a file (actually it can be a few files) as it is running containing bits of info about what it is doing. Sometimes this can be useful to us when diagnosing these sorts of issues. Depending

Hi, Sorry to hear you are having video issues. Do you have a Proclaim log from one of the periods you were experiencing lag or videos not playing (below are instructions on where the Proclaim logs are located)? A few other questions: What kind of videos are you uploading (mpg, wma, etc)? Within Proclaim do you see a window indicating the video is uploading

On Windows if you are experiencing issues related to videos freezing or very high memory usage then disabling hardware acceleration may help. Proclaim uses Windows Media Player to play videos on PCs running Windows. There is an issue with some versions of Windows Media Player using certain display drivers that can result in videos freezing when loading
