  • Using touch screen in Windows 8

When I use the touch screen in Windows 8 in logos, it highlights instead of scrolling the page. Is there anyway to change that? If not, I think there needs to be an update.

  • Help adding a personal book to library with hyperlinks from Word

I'm trying to add a commentary I'm writing in a Microsoft Word document with hyperlinks and/or a table of content in Word but only some links work in the Logos book once it's added. Does anyone know how to make the table of content show up from Word and also how to make all hyperlinks work in that book file in Logos? Thanks

  • Help!

My notes are making copies of themselves on L4 on my PC. I have an account linked to a laptop too, and it is doing it some on that as well. I now have 4 copies of each note. How do I fix this?

  • Re: Seriously? Doing a Greek word search just got harder

Thanks for that clarification. The interesting thing is my screen does not show as much information as your picture does. So that second Greek # is not listed as on your screen. I'm not sure why that is, but there are several things that don't seem to fully appearing in boxes on my Logos 4

  • Problems Making Notes

I would like to know if anyone else has this problem: A good portion of the time when I add a note, instead of showing me the verse with the empty box to start typing in, it goes to the very top of my notes file and is not in an active box. I then have to scroll all the way down to the right verse, click in the box, and then I can start typing. This

  • Re: Dear Logos, can you fix the copy bible verse?

Yay? I guess I'm glad you agree it is a problem and in theory will be fixed in 4.0c. But didn't we just get a big update with lots of "fixes?" Why can't we just sneak this one in there too since we already know it's a problem? I can't imagine it's more than a few lines of code inserted to allow the other parameters. I did just waite over 4 months just

  • Doing a Greek word search just got harder

One of the more useful features of Logos USED TO BE how easy it was to look at all the occurences of a Greek root word. This way I can EASILY see how it used throughout the NT and get a range of meaning. I'll admit the menu system actually looks like it could be faster and better in L4, but do I really need to search " 'o" 6,000 times? For whatever

Wow, excelent job diagnosing the real problem here. Good work thinking about how to test it. So now we have the problem identified, I wonder if logos will code the program just slightly different so that it works in each section the way I am asking for it. And I can't imagine that I'm the only one who wants to be able to customize the references in

  • Re: Problems with Notes

Gary thank your for your 2 posts. I have done as you instructed and it all now works. This is great, that problem is completely solved now! That is quite the fickle piece of software we are dealing with here. That seems rediculous that it would have that big of a difference from selecting vs. right clicking it. So for everyone else, right-click somewhere

  • Re: Dear Logos, can you fix the copy bible verse?

So can anyone give a rational answer as to why they would not at least fix the broken code that copies [fullbookname] instead of John? That seems like an easy fix, and an unaceptable error for a high level piece of software like this. I have sent this in to the support people and no one has helped in over 2 months. Does anyone else see that as a big

  • Re: Problems with Notes

They all have my note files as an option, and that option is selected. Again, this has worked in the past, now it is not. And my secondary question is still, can anyone else have more than one set of note files selected across other translations?

  • Re: Problems with Notes

Can a few more people please confirm this? I have given up waiting on Logos4 to import my notes for me, and I plan to waste many hours manually doing it, and now it won't even do a basic feature.

  • Dear Logos, can you fix the copy bible verse?

I posted this same problem many months ago, and nothing has changed. This is clearly a broken piece of code in your software, and it is adversely affecting your users. Can you please fix it. When I try to edit the preformated CBV, I go to your help page, and copy paste directly into the code the exact form it is supposed to be: [FullBookName] And when

  • Re: Problems with Notes

So can anyone confirm that you can write notes into different notes files and have all your notes in all the different note files show up accross Logos in different translations? Then, can any Logos tech people help me understand why none of my notes are showing up on other translations now?

  • Re: Problems with Notes

I am doing it just like you said Jonathan, and it is not showing up in the other translations. Any idea why not? I'm pretty sure it did in the past. So maybe something is just wrong with mine. My secondary question though is, does everyone else have notes from multiple note files that show up in every translation? Mine has never done that correctly

  • Re: Still using L3? Prefer L3?

I too agree with the original post. I bought L4 early on, and have accomplished nothing with it except to try several times to jump over the new learning curve, which hasn't worked and has cost me many hours, just trying to use basic features which apparently are intentionally not functioning properly yet. I spent over an hour trying to make the copy

  • Problems with Notes

I have decided to give up on waiting on Logos 4 to import notes for me, because I've heard negative remarks about how they are going to format the notes, even if it does finally come out. I have been waiting for almost 4 months to switch to this new program I paid for way back then, but it's not going to happen without my notes. And now, I cannot even

  • Re: I miss pop up Strong's definitions

I really liked this feature too. It has been replaced by the "information window" but I don't like having multiple windows open while I study. Can I suggest to Logos that we be given the option of the pop up window for Greek words. That would be really helpful to me and my studies.
