Commenting on my own post here - I took a shot at something. I am using a Netgear Nighthawk AX12 router (looks like something out of Star Wars), and was having a few missed slide changes every Sunday, so I added a Nighthawk AX8 extender for it - it's t he one matched for that router. It made a mesh network. I disconnected the extender today, and things

Sweet! That will help a lot! I have maybe a dozen different video snippets I want to use on Easter - GREAT TIMING!!!! Pastor Lawrence Becker

Reaching out again - I Hi, again, Justin - I DID upgrade our WiFi router to the latest/greatest WiFi6 Netgear Nighthawk WiFI-6 AX12 router and AX8 mesh extender - I've got WiFi coming out my ears (so to speak)... I put the iPad's network on a 5gHz network which will only be used for the iPad/Proclaim. The mb/s went up significantly - from 50ish to 85ish

Hi, again. I've asked about this before. When I log on to a live presentation with my ipad, often several screens show up as blank in the presentation until I touch them - then they pop right up. I was assuming that the problem was with our ancient router, so I finally updated to the latest, greatest Netgear Nighthawk AX8 router and mesh extender. This

Hi, Justin, I didn't use a 4g connection - I used either the local or the wifi in the building (which is what I had normally been using). The local was clearly better. It seemed sometimes that I had to pull down the screen to refresh the remote app before I clicked Control. It wouldn't surprise me that my tech guys are doing on air edits -but I was

I tried it yesterday and it worked as expected. I also changed to the Local WiFI option. Are there any downsides to doing this? One welcome change is that when you play videos the ipad shows the opening frame of the video on-screen. Thanks!

Hi - I've noticed this a few times lately - When I'm controlling the slide show from my iPad exclusively, things seem to work normally, with slides in the main viewer and the thumbnails below advancing normally. Today (and a few times recently) the slide in the main view on the iPad was stuck on the offering slide, but the slides below were active.

Got it sorted - the Faithlife app is under Utilities in the app section on the Firestick. Select it, and it generates a code that I had to enter on my pc to link my account with the device. It then gave me the option of selecting a sign feed on the Firestick, and I'm in business. Sweet, and I don't have to keep the Just Cats feed on now. Thanks, Mike
-
Hi, Mike, This is on the Firestick itself, right? You search in the apps section? Or on something like Firefox to get an internet link? I was looking in the Firestick's app store and was going blind trying to find it.

So, I just spent 20 minutes searching through the apps, category by category, and I don't see it. I only made it through about 5 categories and ran out of time. Does anyone know which category the Faithlife app is in? Weird that you can't search for apps - it just gives the categories and you have to scroll through them - unless I'm missing something

New Digital signage user here - I couldn't figure out what was going on for a bit, but it seems that the Amazon 4k fire stick we use to access Firefox and the sign feed, times out at 20 minutes. I checked all the menus and I don't see any way to stop that behavior. Any ideas? Thanks - Pastor Larry Becker

Thanks for the suggestion, Justin. It isn't that - I checked that first thing a couple of years ago. When she adds a slide with new content, she is getting a red exclamation mark where you'd normally see a green check mark indicating proper syncing. I looked on her pc and she has HUNDREDS of red exclamation marks - I don't think her pc has ever properly

Hi - sorry for 2nd post in one day... This has been going on for a couple of years now, and I need to sort this out. When my secretary makes content slides on her pc, they look fine on her pc - but when I try to open them anywhere else, I get blank slides. Is there a setting in Proclaim that I might have wrong? Or is anyone aware of some setting on

I am accustomed to using 40-50 slides on a Sunday morning... I just finished s presentation at a 2-day conference where I must have had HUNDREDS of slides - many in 30 to 70 slide Powerpoint presentations, as well as a dozen or so videos from various organizations, photos, info slides and so on,. I was doing a favor for my bishop and running sound,

I think I've had this issue before - the CCLI Song Select link seems to be broken and I don't see how to relink it. I tried accessing the Proclaim help on my iMac, and it doesn't seem to be working - I also tried searching the forum and came up with nothing - which I thought was odd... When I click on the View song usage reports, I get nothing. When

I notice it works this evening - thanks for all your good work!

Is it my imagination, or did something just change - For a while, when I added a graphic file into a content item, the list of slides on the left changed from "content" to the file name of the jpg. I thought that was really helpful, and would make it easier to reuse slides at another time. Now - I think - the file names no longer transfer to the slide

Yes, that's one of the presentations I was bouncing back and forth in - the other is the 10:45 service for the same date. I was, I think, trying to copy the scripture and sermon slides, along with the announcement slides, back and forth. I normally complete the bulk of it in the 8:30 service and copy it to the 10:45 service. The "Preservice loop" presentation

I would be scared to death to use a YouTube link in a live situation. I don't always have a solid WI-FI connection, and the last thing you'd want is to get a buffering screen. Or ads popping up... Someone here mentioned Wondershare video downloader a few years ago - I download the video to a file and upload it to Proclaim. You have to be careful of
