• Re: Logos Now / Lectionary Question

Hi MJ do you know if this functionality (to edit Homepage layouts) is only available in Logos/Verbum now? I have Verbum 6.10 SR-2 and don't see Homepage layouts under my Layouts window. This is a functionality I've wanted for a long time, but I'm hoping that I don't need to subscribe to Logos/Verbum Now to get it since I am just a novice Verbum user
Interesting. While it looks like it's still dependent on people creating a port of these apps, it would be nice if it encouraged developers to bring apps over. What's keeping me hesitant on getting a Surface right now is that a lot of the apps I use on my ancient tablet (DivineOffice, iMissal) don't seem to exist for Windows

With the big news from Microsoft's Build conference this week about Microsoft making it ridiculously easy to port not only Android but also iOS apps to be Universal Windows Apps I'm really hoping this will kickstart Faithlife's efforts to make this a reality! Bob, That's a very good and valid point that I hope the folks at Faithife take into account. Folks like us that are pledging our support are just the tip of the iceberg. For every one of us there are probably ten to twenty other folks that will install and use the app once available. I've also pledged the full $37 and absolutely don't mind doing so
Jason, While you are waiting for that to happen a viable work around might be to install the Kindle app on your tablet and use the "send to Kindle" feature on Logos to send your book to the tablet.
Nord, This sounds like a nice option. I have the Kindle app on my tablet already but I'm not familiar with how to use
I do hope that this product is created - and can be used alongside the installation of Logos 5 (or whatever) on my Windows 8.1 hybrid. There are times I want a lighter, leaner reader and there are times I want all the power of the Logos 5 engine.
Floyd- I feel the same way about the need for a lightweight reader
Other than supporting the Logos community, why would I want this new app as long as I am able to run Logos satisfactorily with Windows 8.1 on my Vivo Tab Note 8 with 64 GB?
Steve, This would run on many very low cost (<$100) Windows tablets like the very popular HP Stream 7" as well as all Windows phones. Also, it

  • Poll and set up community supported Windows universal app

Over the past several months I have been following several threads related to the desire for a Windows universal app for Logos. Two things are striking to me: 1) the passion behind Windows tablet/phone users' pleas for Faithlife to develop this kind of app and 2) the lack of any comments whatsoever from Faithlife. So I have a modest proposal. Rather

  • Re: Retiring the Windows Store apps

I totally agree. I just bought a new HP Stream 7 Windows tablet and I love it and plan to upgrade to Windows 10 in a few months. I also own a Lumina smartphone which I will be updating to Windows 10. A universal app from Logos that would allow me to access my full library from the cloud on both of these devices would be perfect! Please make this a priority

I absolutely agree... I really think that Microsoft is absolutely moving in the right direction with universal apps, free upgrade to Windows 10 for everyone on Win 7/8 and Windows Phone 8/8.1, making the experience best in Windows but also making their services available everywhere, touch-first version of Office, putting the customer first and wanting
