It's time to make your Final Four predictions. Who will it be?
don't know a lot about moo, other than a lot of people have been clamoring for one commentary of his in particular.
I can think of a couple of reasons for voting for Moo: 1) His focus on environmental theology has

  • Re: Great conservative (reformed?) commentary sets

I agree, Calvin's commentaries would be my suggestion. Something to consider though: I have a couple of commentaries with which I totally disagree, I find their theology to be alien to me, but I regularly go back to them to see what other perspectives might be out there. I find the challenge of stepping out of my comfort zone to be very stimulating

  • Re: Do commentary's prices go UP or DOWN overtime?
what if Logos goes out of business ? Then there would be no more support..after spending much.
I shouldn't be too worried. If Logos were to go out of business, you'd still have access to the resources on your hard drive. Even with some functionality lost, it would still be as if you had the individual titles on a bookshelf

  • Re: Kindle Paperwhite with Logos App?

Biblia.com works just fine on the experimental browser. There's limited functionality -- no highlighting, scrolling rather than page turning -- and you need wi-fi access, which drains the battery. But as a pure reader it's ok.

  • Re: Moody titles will be going away
This is a very bad precedent. If Logos loses other major publishers, it will certainly devalue the entire platform.
I agree that it would be a shame if this started a snowball effect that led to the Logos brand being less than it is, but I cannot agree with your sentiment:
I pray that Logos

  • Re: Free Vyrso Book - Seeing through the Fog by Ed Dobson

Just had a quick count, and thanks to Vyrso and Logos I've picked up 64 free books in the past twelve months alone. I'm happy to report that every one have been beneficial in some way or other. Big to Team Logos.
I really enjoyed this book, well worth a read, and I know our cultures are seperated by a common language, LOL, but does anyone else see the gramaticial error from the promo email (above) humorous?? So: Dont miss out on "Conversion August" - dont even think of leaving it till september, when entry into heaven will cost you more

I've been to many places (though I admit, not yet Canada) and I've never found a place that beats my home county. Milford, if you ever get by this way again, it would be my pleasure to share a tea and Grasmere gingerbread with you.

When I traded in my old mobile phone (I believe it was the Nokia brick ) I had the option to upgrade to a smartphone -- the monthly payments were twice that of another Nokia and I spent some time considering my options: did I really want to pay twice as much to call people and send text messages? In the end I went for the smartphone and a whole new
A sense of entitlement pervades society. If you can not afford Logos or are unwilling to sacrifice to get it, buy something cheaper or get one of the free alternatives.
I'm with you on that. If anyone seriously wants to get into Bible study money is no object -- there's free software, and there are libraries stacked
You know you need more time when you check the book out on Vyrso only to discover you already own it. More time is obviously a better solution than less resources.
It was a freebie in June last year. God bless Logos & Vyrso for their charitable deeds
