If that is true - why didn't Logos 4 crash? It was very stable.

Now I got in to 'sign in' and I tried, but then the windows told me, that Logos 5 just stopped working and nothing else and it didn't matter if I tried over the internet or offline.

I tried to hold down the ctrl key while opening logos 5, but with no result. Most of the rest on that page is hard to understand, at least for me.

I have just upgraded to Logos 5 and when I press the icon it begins as normal, but instead of opening it just stops without any error message or anything - as if there is no program???

  • just a few questions?

What does crossgrade mean? I've seen it mentioned several times. A lot have also mentioning that they are upset because they have to downgrade. I myself have a L4 platinum - but if I 'downgrade' to L5 Bronze, I just get fewer new books, right? I'm not losing anything, am I? I'm just a little confused, so I hope someone could enlighten me, thanks.

  • can any tablet use Logos?

I haven't yet bought any tablet, at least not before December, and since I'm living in Europe and can't get Kindle fire HD 8 9, which I would prefer, I want another not so expensive tablet with more than 7 inches. I'm thinking of Nook HD+ or Samsung Galaxy tab 2 10.1 or maybe even Acer Iconia A210 - but how do I find out if they can use Logos?

  • 7" - is that big enough?

I'm about to buy my first tablet, and I will primarily use it for Logos Bible Software . What size would you advice me to choose? Could you recommend a 7" or... ?

  • Re: Logos-5---?

If there is any L5 underway, then I think it will be released within the next year or so. Windows 8 has just been released, and I think L5 will be working with that platform. However, I'm only guessing!

But if I download it all, then I can use passage guide without any wifi - right?

  • Kindle Fire HD 16 GB - is that enough storage for Logos?

I am no technical genius - but on my PC, Logos uses more than 16 GB storage, so do I have to buy a Kindle with 32 GB or can I deselect some of the books?
Wow - quite impressive site. Somehow this has missed my attention.

Well, if it is of any interest, as no one seems to know anything about these books soon available at Logos (Biblical Performance Criticism Series), I read a review on amazon.com about one of the books: 'The Case for Mark Composed in Performance'. It is definitely not for me!! But read it yourself: http://www.amazon.com/Case-Composed-Performance-Biblical

That's right, this is not the place for a theological debate. However, where can I find such a place, I sometimes miss a forum for clarification and enlightenment? Just to try out my point of views and read what other people think and mean.
Please, let us not get into a theological debate. There are many of us who do believe

I am most interested in New Testament, especially because, I think there is more literary evidence and because Logos has a new material on this topic: 'Biblical Performance Criticism Series (4 vols.)' that in a way looks interesting. Does anyone know those books? Old Testament is not that interesting for me because I think that the research on this

  • oral tradition and the bible

I want to know more about the correlation between the oral tradition and the written bible, and I have found out that there are many views and books about this topic. I just can't afford all books, and I also do not want to support any point of view by buying their book. In my point of view, the bible is the word of God, but I am willing to understand
