• Re: 5.2 Beta 3: Blank icon on task bar not fixed

This happens to me in Windows 8 every single time the Logos software updates. I always have to unpin it, open the software by a different method, which includes the icon, then pin it again. I have to do that every time I update the software.

Guys, I spent two weeks creating a personal book of David Guzik's commentary because the ones people have made in the past have disappeared. It's a great commentary. I would love more than anything to share my personal book docx file with you, but I can't get Pastor Guzik to reply to my requests for permission to share it. I've written him at his Enduring

I know this is an old thread, but I was kind of interested in switching back to Linux, and my two roadblocks are Logos 5 and Quickbooks.

But there are issues. There are two different package formats to distribute programs. Yes, the .deb format seems to be winning now, but sometimes

It will only stop you being able to compile it again. [/quote

  • Personal Books on multiple computers

I have Logos 5 installed on my church computer, and my personal computer, both are Windows PCs. I compiled a Personal Book on my personal computer, and I was going to compile the same book separately on my church computer. When I went to do that, I found out that the metadata for personal books gets synced, but the actual book data doesn't. So what

Thanks. But like I said, I did compile it as a commentary, and it doesn't show up in the passage guide. Maybe I should look at it again when I get a chance. Is there a difference between compiling as a commentary and compiling as a bible commentary?

Thank you for this PBB. I have a question, though. I'm using Logos 5, and I compiled this as a commentary, and put it in my priority list. But it still doesn't show up in passage guide searches. Does anyone have any advice on this?

  • Re: Problem with Copy Bible Verses to Word

I actually just figured it out. I checked out my Normal style in Word 2007, and it was set to be centered. I set that Word style to be left justified, and now pasting scriptures works like I expected.

  • Problem with Copy Bible Verses to Word

I am using the Copy Bible Verses tab to copy verses to Word. I am using a custom style based on the "One verse per line" style, and I have verified that the same thing happens with that built in style. When I copy and paste verses to Microsoft Word, it pastes the verses centered in my document, even though nothing else in the entire document is centered

You've already been given good advice, but let me share my experience. I started off testing out Logos 5 with the free download and all of the free resources that are available, especially from the Faithlife Study Bible app. What I found out is that by doing this, you don't get any of the data sets that give functionality to Logos, which made it a waste
