• Search help on discipline, forgiveness, and consequences

A few of us were having a discussion after church regarding true, Biblical forgiveness and consequences. Is there a way to do a search to see if there is a time when God forgave someone yet had consequences remaining after the forgiveness?

  • Bug - Word Find Puzzle

I know I have posted before about the word find puzzle - https://community.logos.com/forums/p/178784/1033521.aspx#1033521 and was pointed towards this thread: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/151975.aspx?PageIndex=1 But here is the issue I am coming across now: It's not showing the entire passage when I want to have it as a passage rather than a

Yes, even with the Fuzzy Bible Search expanded, it was showing nothing. Sorry about that screenshot, I didn't realize it was collapsed when I took that screenshot. But, all is well now.

Actually, I just restarted logos, and it's working just fine again. I forgot the first rule of fixing anything on a computer...turn it off then back on again...

But it gave me the suggestion to search "never leave you nor forsake you" (emphasis added) and it found it right away because that's the exact wording. I thought the Fuzzy Bible Search was for when you couldn't remember the exact wording.
I don't think it is the exact wording when translations

  • Re: Fuzzy Bible Search

That's what I have it on, a Basic search, searching everything. And yes, I was expecting more, as up until very recently, I always got a lot more through on the Fuzzy Bible Search. I could type in "imitate Christ" and get a result in the Fuzzy Bible Search that would match the ESV search below it (see screenshot). And I used "imitate Christ" just as

  • Fuzzy Bible Search

Recently, it seems as if the Fuzzy Bible Search function has become less usable. In the past several days, the majority of my searches have shown NOTHING at all under the Fuzzy Bible Search, when in the past, it has almost always populated something, even if the wrong passage. I recently did an everything search for "never leave you or forsake you"

Joe, As for a native application for the Silicon Apple chips, I don't know. But there are plenty of reviews saying that Logos works very well on the m1 macs through the Rosetta software on the newer macs. • Logos for iPadOS Sermon List

I have a question about loading sermons on Logos. Is there a way to change how the sermons are listed? I'd like to see the most recent one on top, and then go down the list from there. Right now, it seems like they are completely randomly listed, not even in alphabetical order.

What are some of the tools you use to create an exegetical outline with Logos? Also are there any good resources to check your work? Robert
The Outline Section on the Passage Guide provides plenty of exegetical outlines. Most commentaries have them also. You can rework them or build your own

  • Re: Spiritual Disciplines

I don't know if this would be of any use, but R. Kent Hughes and his wife have some books. There's "Disciplines of a Godly Man", "Disciplines of a Godly Woman", "Disciplines of a Godly Family". I've read through "Man" and am going through "family" with my men's Bible study right now. Very good stuff, convicting.

  • Attn. Faithlife: NICOT Ezra Nehemiah pre-order on FBOTM page

On the Free Book of the Month Page, when clicking on the green "pre-order" button for the Ezra/Nehemiah NICOT, it takes me to " The Mission of the Triune God: A Theology of Acts (New Testament Theology)" preorder. When I click on the image of the book cover, it brings me to the right preorder NICOT Ezra/Nehemiah page.
The Book of Common Prayer and many other lectionaries have Advent readings, and readings for EVERY Sunday of the entire Christian year. The 1662 and 1928 have a one-year lectionary. The newer editions have a three-year lectionary. I prefer a one-year lectionary and want the same scriptures every year. The Logos regular

  • Sunday Advent Reading

I'm looking for a resource with good Advent readings that a family would do on Sunday mornings during the corporate gathering. I find many advent devotionals, but I haven't found anything with Lord's Day advent readings (unless I've just completely missed them absentmindedly). Any suggestions, ideas, or directions on where to look are greatly appreciated
