With the recent studies showing that inking helps with memory, and more devices coming with some kind of inking tool, is this something Logos is thinking about ? . I'm not sure what all is involved, but it would be pretty cool to take notes, highlight etc. right on the pages of a Logos resource. I haven't really had much opportunity yet to use the new

As mentioned mine is the Android app. My version is 6.5.1 build 605011191 and I am using a Google Pixel. I removed the ESV and then downloaded it and the resource is available now. The LEB which is downloaded still shows "Could not open offline resource" with a retry button, but as noted, it won't allow me to remove it as it says it is a part of the

Airplane mode didn't make a difference. I did delete the ESV and then download and that worked. However, since LEB is a part of the program it won't allow me to remove the resource and re-add it. I noted in the forum that there was an update, though I haven't seen it on my phone yet. If it doesn't show up I may just uninstall Logos, and trying reinstalling

I was meeting with a family at the funeral home and opened my Android app to read a few verses and I get a prompt that it could not open offline resource and shows retry button, which I tried several times with no success. I tried going from the ESV to the LEB which I had also previously downloaded, same message. I go to library and it shows they are

Okay, that makes sense. I wasn't thinking about it from the Amazon side of things, which is why I was trying to figure out why Faithlife wouldn't put Vyrso on. It's like the recent removal of Chromecast by Amazon. And since the Bible app is a more complete Bible study app, they don't see that as a direct competition though it might be considered an

Quick question. My wife has the newest Fire from Amazon that you can pick up for $50. The Vyrso app doesn't appear but the Bible app does. She'd like to just read Vyrso books and doesn't need all the bells and whistles that the full Logos app has. Is there a reason the Vyrso app doesn't work with this device. I know it's kind of a bare bones device

I just noticed that they play in Chrome but not IE. I usually use Chrome but for some reason the link was opening in IE. But can they be something that is available on my computer and not online?
-
During several of the Faithlife today video clips they have had some narrated intros to different cities which are very well done. I can get a few showing up in my resources when I search for something like Corinth or Sardis, and it has a play button overlayed on it, but when I click the resource in my Logos Desktop it opens up a web page in my browser

Yes clearing the data and cache worked. Had to re download books, but was impressed that it automatically downloaded the books I'd had on the device.
-
Should I try uninstalling and reinstalling. Is there a cache to clear out in the app settings?
-
I have opened and closed the apps multiple times. I'm using the devices to respond to this forum, and can access other things in the Logos app, like a book from my library not on the device.

No, the recently created reading plan isn't there. Older plans which I deleted on the desktop still appear
-
Yes, I can see the reading plan in my documents. And the list appears much more extensive compared to what I see in the app.
-
Graham, I was expecting them to show up under the home screen under the Today's Readings, where they used to appear, but they aren't there. I honestly hadn't thought about the Documents section under the menu, but the new reading plan I created as a test doesn't show up in either location and my Today's Readings section is empty. Thanks for pointing

I still seem to be having problems with my Logos reading plans created in Logos (Desktop) appearing or syncing with the Android App. I had some plans that I used to see, and they disappeared, and now after creating a new reading plan, it doesn't show up on my Nexus 7 running Lolipop or on Droid Turbo running KitKat. Is this a known problem. I though

I've been an advocate for sometime for this to be offered as a community pricing project, so when I saw this I knew needed to keep my word. I was glad to bid!
-
Thanks. I just checked another print ESV and it has the updated revision, so I guess I'll be switching to that for my preaching Bible.
-
Just curious. I'm preaching on 1 Cor. 1:18-31 this week. In my ESV bibles, verse 30 is "He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, whom God made our wisdom and our righteousness and sanctification and redemption." The Logos electronic text has “And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification

I was fortunate to have my device as an upgrade device this year in our budget and went with a Surface Pro 3. It runs Logos incredibly well, and I am glad to hear Logos is looking at improving the touch features. Since the Surface Pro 3 has a stylus, I can do quite a bit with it, but if Logos would eventually be able to add true inking capabilities
