  • Re: Who's going to win March Madness this year?

I'd like recent scholarship. Something not in the Public Domain.

  • No NICNT Romans Moo

Really? After including other NIC volumes in this sale, the Romans commentary is not included?I realize this March Madness voting is for a pig in a poke, (An author for none of their works listed) but I really planned on getting that book during this sale. Moo has like 6 books total. What kind of paranoid person would I be to doubt it would be there

  • Re: If Wright beats Moo... NICNT Romans

There are several other NICNT volumes currently on sale with March Madness... Since that's the case, I am not sure there's a reason to suspect that it would not be included. I'm hoping for a good discount on this resource. I guess we'll wait and see! NBW

  • If Wright beats Moo... NICNT Romans

Really? How is this 50/50 right now in the voting? Douglas Moo's commentary on Romans is one I've waited years to have in Logos format... Since reading it in seminary, it's been at the top of my list. No offense to anyone that likes N.T. Wright, but his books have been in this contest before. This is the first time Moo's Romans in the NICNT is available

  • Vote Moo, Fee, and Morris

This year, with the NIC being broken up, March Madness has some really good modern commentaries available. Moo, Fee, and Morris have some great books and perhaps a bit less name recognition than those who they are up against..

  • Leon Morris = modern commentaries/ Spurgeon's works are public domain

Hey everyone, let's vote for Leon Morris over Spurgeon. Spurgeon has the name recognition, and both are great thinkers, but Morris provides the value of a discount on some recent works. I personally am rooting for Morris and will buy several of his books, hopefully at a higher discount. God Bless, NBW

  • Re: I participated in the 500K celebration, but the coupon code did not work.

Ray, Hey good evening. I am a logos user. I filled out the survey, etc. but did not receive a coupon for the 500k celebration. I'm a seminary student and I work at a Christian school, so the coupon would be excellent for me, since there's a resource I need for class and can't afford it right now. Could you assist me in getting a copy of that? Thank

  • Re: IVP OT Black Dictionaries vs ISBE, ABD

I don't have the OT black dictionaries, but the NT are very useful... I have AYBD and the NT black dictionaries, and I use both often... Becasue of this, I've made up my mind: I would like the OT prophets and poetry OT dictionaries. I will probably not get the pentateuch or history versions. I like the question you've posed. This is a good thread!

Drew, I have the WORDSearch Preaching Library I'd be willing to sell you, for cheaper than you can get it from their website. Please send me an email at 4nbwalburn at gmail dot com.

  • Re: Audible Logos Books

What about text to speech? (Try Ctrl-R) In the past, nearly every one of my Logos books had a text to speech option. Unfortunately Zondervan chose to diable this feature in their books sometime in 2012. Other publishers still allow this feature. Irving Hexham's new World Religions Introduction is a Zondervan resource and has the "text-to speech" disabled

  • Re: What do You think of the Essential Reference Bundle $570?

I have LaSor, and it's o.k. I had to buy it as a textbook. A little dated, and at times has some strange theories on biblical authorship, like multiple authors for Isaiah... However, it has some very good info on wisdom literature and especially the minor prophets. Some absolutely beautiful commentary there. Use it along with other resources on the

  • Will the Vine's dictionary currently on 12 days of Logos show up in Bible Word Study tool on ipad?

Hey everyone, I have a few questions below: When I perform a greek Biblical word search on Ipad, Louw Nida and the DBL Greek will display a nearly identical definition, but the TDNT does not show up. I use my Ipad more and more for reading and study, and the app is a bit limited when it comes to word study results. Will Vines come up in the results
