I just bought and downloaded the Mobile Ed: Craig A. Evans New Testament Backgrounds Bundle (6 courses) and absolutely love it as with all of my M.ed courses. One thing I noticed, and similar to what Rosie mentioned in her thread: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/95139.aspx is the inconsistency with the backdrop shading for the videos. Here is what
Thanks for catching this. The segment numbers are generated from the Course Outline in the Syllabus, and it looks like the segment "The Purpose of Romans" was skipped in that outline. Also the first segment, "Introducing the Course and the Speaker," is listed twice there. We'll get this fixed and update the resources. [/quote
Also not syncing, glad the forum is up to check that it's not just me.
Not syncing over here.

Here, Segment 5 should be 6, and Segment 6 should be 7, etc.
-
I noticed that Segment 5 is missing numbering. All subsequent segments are off by one number. I love this series and M.ed, but please fix.

Here's a screenshot of what I see with the fuzzy icons. The text, though, is razor sharp. Running on a Mac (OS X 10.10).
Interesting. Will check on that.
Yes, I see this now when I REALLY zoom in. I have my typeface about 8 times smaller than that though so I never noticed it. Interesting

Indeed. Reading at this resolution is a joy and quite an experience. I checked and didn't see the issue you mentioned regarding the fuzziness of certain icons. By the way, what 4k monitor are you using?
-
Well, I finally received my 4K monitor with true 60Hz refresh rate. Text appears so clear and crisp in Logos. Naturally I am unable to upload higher quality png files so we have to settle for jpg.
Thank you, Louis, for creating the Catholic Products forum! And Phil for instigating it. Now let's go to town on making product suggestions here.
Rejoice!

I'd like to suggest we get Fr. Barron's "Catholicsm" series, and whatever else is coming through the pipeline over at Word on Fire. Cheers

$3,340.09 for me. In the next few months I'll scoop this up. :)

I think it would be best if it is grouped by period. Classical, Hellenistic, Byzantine, Roman and so on, because language usage changes over time.
I think that's a great idea. I'd like to suggest that Homeric also be split out separately from Classical.
I agree on the above.

I use it all the time and enjoy the ecumenical approach to scholarship it provides. I also thoroughly enjoy the insight gained from Hermeneia as well. Hermeneia is more critical. Both are vast in scope, and Hermeneia even has two books on Enoch. Not many commentaries have Enoch. I know you enjoy the academic side of things like me Abondservant. I'd
Better to spend 2300$ on something that will better equip me to glorify the Lord, than on movies, cable tv, or a variety of other things that can be considered "entertainment".
Amen to that. I got Portfolio 6 and Verbum 6. Had AYB for a while before. Collector's Edition will be in my sights in the next few months

Just checked myself before coming here. Still down. But I am sure that they'll have it up and running soon!
