[quote user="Randy W. Sims"] I still have some Sid Meier's Steam codes for free copies of the games if anyone wants them. They were left over from the Sid Meier Humble Bundle I picked up a while back: Sid Meier's Civilization IV: The Complete Edition Sid Meier's Civilization V Sid Meier's Civilization V: Gods and Kings DLC Sid Meier's Pirates! The codes

Interesting, Seiki monitors will be 12-bit? Just wonder what the GTG response time is for a 40 inch monitor. Thanks for the link. This is worth watching and taking a look at imo. But only compute cards will process 10-bit color or higher. Team red (no thanks) has some lower end ones that do though, but who buys a low end compute card? lol Peace

Hi Phil, Hee hee, thanks. :) Yes, I read about that recently, but I still want to be able to use this for gaming, and not so sure the type of performance hit I would get FPS-wise to move to such a resolution, although I think my GPU and setup will for sure handle it well. This seems much more like a workstation compute monitor rather than a gaming monitor

Sid Meyers Civ series and AOE2 and AOE3 and AOM all classics. Love RTS. Yes, you have to be careful about using the interlinears too much. :P

Hee hee, Paul. That was a great story you told there. Sounds like a tense battle you had for you to remember so vividly for all these years. That is how life should be. Do everything you can to get the most out of whatever it is that you do, be it sweeping rugs, gaming or uncovering hidden meaning in the Word by utilizing the great resources and client

That is fantastic you are in seminary! I can see how you don't have time for it anymore. After getting this though, I better make time for it, in addition to learning Koine, Syriac, Coptic and various other ancient eastern languages. :) I play Crysis 3, and will do so at 4K on ultra settings, and various FPS and CRPGs, such as Baldur's gate, NWN1 and

Thanks abonservant. Yeah, I wanted a setup that could take DX11 gaming at 4k. Overkill for most other stuff, but I do do that type of gaming in addition to doing dutiful searches in the name of God and His word. :)
-
Yeah, thought about that, but would much prefer a 4k display at 60Hz at around 30 inches. Not really into multi displays, although in my former job I lived by them as a derivatives trader on Wall Street. I have the horsepower to do that though. 4K is in my very near future fellows. A single 4K monitor (not talking TVs with terrible refresh rates or

Thanks Bill. That GTX 760 is still more than enough for Logos. I did go all out on this, but this computer encompasses my ENTIRE entertainment/work activities. I guess that PS4 I bought a month ago is an after thought now, lol. :)

Good call! Thank you.

Let's get it!

Thanks Logos for the video! I cannot wait for this. This will undoubtedly help me along my Hebrew/Aramaic lessons, and will have a lot of fun along with my studies too.

Praise the Lord, for Milford is back with us again!

Doing a simple search in the Catholic topical index on anything random lumps both fathers of the church with ecclesiastical writers under the heading Ecclesiastical writers. Perhaps a distinction should be made??
-
I would include Origen and Tertullian. Writers who were pivotal in the early church's theological formation, but at the same time could be deemed not in keeping with church doctrine/Orthodoxy. Jimmy Akin clarifies this stating that this is the standard opinion of patristic scholars.
