  • Re: Best Practices for Note Migration

See David Tayor's reply with some helpful information. Here is what I did. 1. Open the Note tool. 2. Choose one of your old Notebooks in the left panel. 3. Select all of the notes with Shift click (in a PC) in the middle panel. Note that if there are a lot of notes you may not be able to choose all of them at one time. I could get about 60 chosen at

    2. How do you "dump notes out of notebooks" then delete the notebook? If I delete a notebook it appears to delete the notes in it as well. I presently have notebooks for each book of the Bible. Is it now best, less complicated, to perhaps just keep them all in one notebook such as "New Testament notes"?

  • Re: Logos app will not load on my phone

Thanks for that information. So, if I free up internal storage would the app install to that? How much storage does the app take. The phone has a total of 4gb internal but, of course, a lot of that is taken up with os files.

  • Logos app will not load on my phone

I have a LG Lucky phone (LGL16c) and would like to install the Logos app. When I try to do so I get a message that my phone is incompatible. I have Android version 4.4.2 on the phone. I have a micro SD card that apps are installing to. Any thoughts?

[quote user="Kevin Byford (Faithlife)"] [quote user="David Wanat"] Not sure if this is workable, but since I have 4.2.2 and no likely chance to upgrade soon, I'll throw it out there. Can you consider leaving us with a Legacy version of Logos/Verbum that allows us to download and read the works we own while you continue to update the app for people with

Donnie I am just starting off using the Logos mobile app. I'm wondering where you find the list of gestures (ex. - the two finger swipe) that work in the app. Is there a site that explains these? Bob

  • Ipad 2 or 3? How many GB to I need?

I am considering buying an ipad mainly for use with the Logos app, reading books and to use Powerpoint in teaching Sunday school. I am wondering if the ipad 3 is really worth the extra money or is the ipad 2 sufficient since it is much more affordable. I also would like to know if the 16 GB has sufficient storage space or should I get the 32 or 64 GB

  • Re: Logos Bible software 4 does not start

Richard Thanks for the tip. That did take care of the problem. I was able to start Logos and then do the update. Things are working fine now.

I am having somewhat the same problem. I have been using Logos but now I keep getting the message - Logos Bible Software stopped working. The Logos screen comes up but then none of the windows opens. I just get the stopped working message. Any advice would be helpful. Logs attached Bob 0508.Logos Log Files.zip

5722.Logos Log Files.zip Tommy I hope the log files are attached. I'm not really sure. I did notice today that my school computer, which had not yet been updated, didn't show the sync error until after the newest update was installed. Strangely, it seems syncing IS occurring because my school and home computers did sync notes today even though both

  • Re: Logos is not syncing

I do have the Faithlife Bible installed but have not made any reading plans. When I went to school today and started Logos on my desktop the sync was working until I installed the new update. Then it went to the Sync error icon. I then tried to start Logos on my laptop and it just crashes. It will not start up the program. Any thoughts?

  • Logos is not syncing

Has anyone noticed a problem with Logos 4 not syncing? This just started a few days ago. The sync icon keeps returning to the yellow warning triangle and says there was an error in syncing. I have restarted Logos and rebooted the computer but nothing has helped yet. My internet connection is working so that must not be the problem. Logos Bible Software

  • Free Logos 4 engine and Free Perseus books

Does anyone know if a person using the free Logos 4 Core engine will be able to download the free Perseus collection books now being offered? I have a friend who teaches history who would like to use the Civil war information but doesn't have a regular version of Logos 4. I know he can get the free core engine but don't know if he will be able to download

  • One large note file or several smaller ones?

I have one large note file called My General Notes for writing notes on specific verses over the whole Bible when I am doing devotional reading or study. This file has become quite large and, often, very slow to update. Should I build a note file for each Bible book instead of having the large file? Would this speed things up enough to warrant the extra

  • Morris Proctor manuals vs Camp Logos

I'm thinking about buying the Morris Proctor Logos 4 manuals but wondering if I should wait and buy the Logos 4 DVDs of Camp Logos when they come out. How much more information would I get from Camp Logos than I could get from the Proctor manuals and, perhaps, watching more of the Training videos on the web?
