I searched the forum and could not find the answer. The Home Page scrolls parallel and I am wondering if it can be changed to horizontal like it was in Logos 5? Thanks.

  • Re: Logos Update Fails

Thanks. Will make sure I don't already have 4.5.1 installed. Not sure why Microsoft doesn't update .NET files.

  • Logos Update Fails

Updating Logos 5.2b SR 8 fails every time with the fatal Microsoft.NET 4.5 error. I have tried to fix the problem, but, still no joy. Running Windows 8.1 on Dell Computer. I purchased Logos 6 when it came out, so, I guess for now, unless someone has a solution I am stuck with Logos 5.2 SR 8.

  • Re: DIY Bible Study

Wasn't easy to find, but, I went into my Faithlife Profile and was able to check Documents where I was able to delete the 2nd copy. Going to have to remember that.

  • DIY Bible Study

I inadvertently created a duplicate DIY Bible Study after I selected "Get Copy" twice. Is there any way to get rid of the 2nd Copy from the Home Page? Thanks.

  • Re: Well done!

Could not agree more. Finally got all the Mac's update, now, for the only PC in the house tonight. Most of my slow download speeds were because I was using our wifi for our customers at work and that is locked down for security reasons at the Clinic. Once I connected my MBP to the network the speed was there to complete the download/install on the device

  • Re: Is the Logos Website Slow?

After about 10 attempts I was finally able to purchase and download my Crossgrade. Now, after indexing it is downloading another 500 mb of updates and taking a long time doing that. After 3 hours I finally reached 34% and I hope there are not any more updates to download so I can check out the software. I do like the new Homepage. Found my issue. It

  • Re: Update has started!

Yes, I was able to open Logos on my iMac and turn off automatic updates before it got that far. I will restart my MBP so I can see what it download at least and let it index.

  • Re: Update has started!

The download was 1.25 gb and I started it at 2am and when I checked at 9:30am it was at 43%. I canceled it and I guess for now I will not be updating or using Logos for a while. Have to use a competitors software to do Bible Study. The site is overtaxed.

  • Re: Logos in Yosemite

I had to uninstall, delete the partition, create a bigger partition and reinstall. As of today with Beta 4 everything works just fine.

  • Re: Logos in Yosemite

Logos 5 gets to 95% indexing, then crashes. Bring up Logos 5 again and indexing starts all over. This on a 2012 Macbook Pro. Sad, I have to perform another 2 hours of indexing. It is slower using this Beta Version, but, that is to be expected I guess. Had to uninstall Yosemite and reinstall with 100 gb of free space on a separate partition which should

  • Re: Logos in Yosemite

I installed Yosemite on it's own partition. The indexing failed the first time and it is running again now on my MB Pro. It said I ran out of space last night after getting to 96%, but, I know that is not the case, so I decided to try it again today. It will probably run another 2 hours before it finishes. Hope it is not a memory hog, but, it is beta

  • Re: Notes on iPad

Graham, perhaps that might work if you create a generic note file beforehand. I will give that a shot and let others know what I did to get it to work. Thanks. Update: Right now I can't make it work and bring up a Sermon Note unless I link it to a particular verse. Still learning, so back to watching the video one more time. I had to go to the Home

  • Re: Notes on iPad

Is there a way to have the Bible open in one pane and a blank note document in the other? If not, that would be a huge benefit for taking the iPad to church with me and using it exclusively.

  • Re: Bible Word Study Tutorial

I can't recommend John Fallahee's Webinar more highly for understanding how to use Logo's on the iPad. I purchased it and watched it yesterday. Now I can use the app on my iPad Mini at church as well. Once I figure out how to have a notes window open next to my Bible I will be able to take notes as well. If I am out of line, Logos I apologize, but,

  • Re: Logos on Galaxy Tab 3

Yes, it works nice. Decided to go with the smaller Note 8.0 and will use it mainly to read the Bible. Thanks.

  • Logos on Galaxy Tab 3

Just wanting to know how Logos does with Galaxy Tab 3. Looking at the 8 inch model, although the 10.1 would be nice. If Apple had a pen like the Samsung I would be hesitant to trade it in. Any issues I need to consider? How does the pen work for highlighting? Thanks.

  • Topic Guide

I am following along with the MP Seminar DVD's and came to the lesson Topic Guides. Brother Proctor mentions Related Topics which does not appear in my Topic Guide and is not an option to add. I have the latest Mac Version Update, but, was just curious if it should be there or not. Still learning to fully use the software.

Another Baptist MAC Convert. I, too, am doing something wrong as I have never had a crash, not even on the Windows side.
