It's not just Patriarchs and Prophets. When it first came out I contacted the White Estate. I have reported it in typo, etc. Nothing has ever changed. It has nothing to do with the original documents. It has to do with some sloppy conversion that does not seem will ever change. Years and years ago I purchased Logos for the SDA commentary and then was
I have zero invested in a competing Bible study software product
For simple searches there is not a learning curve, it is intuitive. It does not have the steep learning curve of Logos. Talk to them about a competitive upgrade.
But the new program was not likely to take off

someone at/near the top is pursueing a dream.
I never saw how LN would succeed. I don't see how this program succeeds, either. I don't see where the market comes from. Bob believes that people "want" a subscription. My experience is just the opposite

Thanks!
Bob, I think you have missed the point of what your customers are telling you
Your post is golden. I hope Bob listens to you. Logos is simply not listening to what the market has been saying.
why would this succeed if the same thing on a lower scale failed in Logos Now?
Exactly. This is

Robert, Great post. Nicely said.
I don't think you have a model that is going to work no matter how desperately you need it to, but of course, we'll just have to wait and see.
Your observation is spot on.
We also need to support the pure transactional model for people who want to 'buy it, own it, and not have to pay again.' That's what we've always offered, and what we plan to continue to offer .
That is a very worrisome statement. It is far less assuring than statements you have made in the past.
The exciting announcement is that it will cost twice as much
Don't forget it also has half the discount. What a deal!

Thanks everyone for the help. I understand it better, even without knowing Hebrew. Why couldn't there be a Bible Word Study of the root, not just the lemma?
-
I was studying Exo 20:8 and looked up the root for the first word, "Remember." I don't know Hebrew but did the automated Logos search for the root:זכר. Some references highlighted the word "be" instead of remembered. For example: Shouldn't the word "remembered" be selected?

Has this ever been implemented? It would help me on a project this weekend.

After restarting my Mac, then going into services, I messed around with the two Logos options and it is now working again. But Mac Services are flaky.
-
CBV works for me, but the Mac Services short cut no longer works.
-
Why don't prompts export to the PowerPoint or Keynote Presenter Notes? Without it, it really limits the usefulness of the program for me.
-
Went through Pages and tried every shift- cmd- A - shift-cmd-Z and learned a number of useful shortcuts, but none replaced the passage. Went into preferences and changed the "Replace with Passage (Logos)" and made the shortcut shift-cmd-J. Now it works beautifully. It is instantaneous. It now is very useful. Many thanks, Philana!!
-
Thanks Philana. That fixed it. The shift-cmd-E doesn't work, but the right click and choose services does.

I have tried to activate Mac Services in Logos 7. Currently I am using Accordance services which work fine. When I try to get Logos service to work, however, the computer sits there doing nothing. The designated keyboard shortcut does not work. The right-click menu show the Logos service is present, but it does nothing. I am sure there is something
