How about this. Right click on the Guide reference. Select the "Open Link in New Tab."
-
Oops. I see you were asking "from the reference." This won't help that!
-
Right-click the tab as shown.
-
Thanks, MJ and Phil. That fixed it. I had turned off all the Visual Filters to time the program responsiveness and failed to note that one of the visual filters involved the Reading Plan.

I entered a chronologic list of Jeremiah divided up by the king at the time as a "Read ESV in 10 weeks." My wife and I listen to the audio each day as part of our daily evening worship together. For the first day or two it showed where to start and stop and one could click at the end and it would check off the portion that had been read. I have not
I am a long-time user of Logos and tend to prefer ownership over renting.
Though I like LN, I have the same preference. I finally subscribed to LN only because it saved me money. Since LN provides a 15% discount + $10.00 for a limited time on a library and there is a 25% discount on the datasets, I calculated that if

That was easy. No orange box until the link, but an arrow which I obviously should have clicked on. Thanks. I have had Logos for years, but only started really using it a year ago when I started watching some training videos. I still primarily used a competitor for most of what I needed. When I got Logos Now a couple weeks ago, with the parallel Bibles

How do I link the Copy Bible panel to other panels or Link Sets such as A or B?
-
Thanks to both MJ and Graham. I understand.
-
This is the usual search magnifying glass on the top line of the panel: This is the Concordance top line: Wouldn't it be helpful for beginners, at least, to have a magnifying glass on this line? I found it, embarrassingly, it took me quite a while, however. And the first time I looked, I did not see it:
The footnote at the verse contains two instances of "aa" - this is what the Concordance is reporting
Is that an error in the footnotes?
-
Why is the search function (cmd-F) hidden in the left upper corner icon in the tab. Would't it be better to have such an important part of the Concordance be consistent with other panels and have the search magnifying option displayed?
-
Thanks. That explains it.

With the new Logos Now membership program, Logos Now saves me money, it finally made sense to get Logos Now's additional features. I have just started to explore it, but I like it. Some features, just as some features of Logos 6, I will never use much or at all, but others will be useful. But some, such as columns, will be in constant use. The Concordance

Thanks Phil That was the info I was needing. I believe this program will increase the number of Logos Now subscribers. I will subscribe this afternoon. And if Logos updates yearly it will make fiscal sense to continue the Logos Now subscription.
-
If I understand the FL pricing, Logos 7 (software only) will be free in the February time frame. Hypothetically, suppose (1) a person owns a Logos 6 gold library. That individual also has (2) a year's Logos Now subscription that runs out next August 2017. When Logos 7 comes out, the individual (3) purchases the Logos 7 gold library (AND datasets) at
I was only trying to be a good little citizen
You were. I thought it was a great post. It only needed one more step, how to make the search one click on the menu line. Then it should be the beginners tip of the week.
I don't understand your gripe with concordances
I don't have a gripe with concordances. Often there is a trade off between power and simplicity. Logos has power. I like it. It took me several years to get used to its very flexible search routines and I now have a Bible search tab that I invoke with a click from the
I'm wondering...when Logos 7 releases in fall, is it going to have everything that Logos Now currently has?
That is the dilemma that Logos faces. Every company would like a subscription type of service with its guaranteed monthly income. But services either need to save money or provide must-have features. If Logos
we have some cool things in store for Logos Now members in the near future. I think you'll be glad you decided to keep it.
That has been the sales pitch from Logos Now's introduction! And as long as development continues, it will continue to be a selling point. I look at Logos Now like a subscription magazine
