Also note that deleted documents don't appear by default. In the drop-down lists at the top, change "Available" to "Deleted" to see your deleted prayer lists. You should then be able to undelete it.
That fixed it! All is well again. It was saved as Prayer List. How did it get deleted in the first

I think it was probably untitled, but i don't know. That's what it's called now. But could I find it on a back up and restore it?
Have you checked documents.logos.com?
Yes. It is not there.
Have you checked documents.logos.com?
I do have constant backups of my drive. Where would I find it in a backup of my drive?

I have a MacBook Pro Retina running El Capitan. Logos 6 automatically updated to 6.13, but when I brought up my daily prayer list, it was empty. All my prayer information is gone. In my documents there is a file, "Untitled Prayer List", which is empty. Is there any way this can be recovered?

Since the "Septuagint Translation" is available with NT Bible Word Search, will there ever be a time when it will be available for OT searches I can find the Greek word manually, but it seems logical to expect Logos to automate this task?
She worked with theologians writing this book and goes to church
Hardly a compelling argument. So did Caiaphas, Annas Judas, and a host of opposers to truth through the millennia. Satan quoted Scripture to Jesus.

Solved the problem with LibreOffice which plays nice with .docx. OpenOffice does not. In the past I have used Pages, then save to .docx. However, Pages was introducing an error in spacing (I don't know why, it is not showing any such modifications in the text formating boxes). Using LibreOffice, I was able to change the spacing and save in .docx. Works
Do you mean that THIS document has worked in the past
Yes. This is a board policy manual. I keep it in Logos as it makes searching simple. We voted a very small change in one policy. I made the change and now can't read the results. If I open it in Open Office or Pages it looks fine. It is essentially without spaces between
Are you able to save as .docx format in Pages?
Yes. It has worked in the past. Something has changed.

Somehow, a personal book is coming out virtually unreadable in the Mac. It looks fine in Pages, in Open Office, but it is virtually unreadable when built as a personal book. Do I need to use a different font? font size? I am using Times New Roman and Arial. Here's what it looks like:
Introducing English makes the comparison much less accurate.
Good point. Thank you.
I was able to run a BWS in the OT using the ESV
That was too easy. Didn't think of trying it in English! Seems to work in all my translations with reverse interlinear.
When going from Hebrew to Greek, you use the Translation section of the Bible Word Study
Any reason that the Septuagint Section shouldn't work from Hebrew to Greek? It works well from Greek to Hebrew.

Mark, this is very helpful. I have made my template and saved it. Thank you very much!!

That works well from Greek to Hebrew, but I cannot see it from the Hebrew to the Greek. Take an easy example, the word Noah from the Old Testament, the Greek equivalent is not listed or at least I could not find it.
-
What is the best (accurate/quick) way to find Hebrew equivalents in Greek and Greek equivalents in Hebrew?

Thank you for this very helpful response. This gave me what I needed. I didn't realize this was in Factbook. Should have thought of that. By experimenting around as you suggested, I learned some helpful new ways to work with passages. Logos has some many features it would take a number of lifetimes to master them all.

I am glad to see I wasn't the only one confused about how to do what at the start seemed like a simple task, but never quite seemed to give me the results I expected or needed.

I know there is a way to find all the Bible references to God as a father (God with the attribute of Father, Father referring to God). But I am not sure I have a complete search. These types of searches really give Logos power, but I have difficulty in mastering them. How would the experts go about this task?
